I made a mobile deposit yesterday and they told me I would get some of the money today and the rest on Friday. When I checked my account today, I noticed that the full amount was on hold. It says the date available is Friday. The reason was “Please Contact Check Writer” I contacted the business that issued the check and they said there was no issue on their end and they didn’t know why my bank said that. I know the check is good for a fact. They are a reputable company and I have cashed many checks from them with my former bank. Has anybody had this experience? Should I expect the funds to be released on Friday?
