How to respond to Muslim greetings?

I'm of brown skin but not Muslim (or any faith tbh) and often greeted by Muslims with "As-salamu alaykum".

I know what response is, but never used it as:

  1. I don't want to butcher it and offend.

  2. I don't know if it's ok to use it as a non Muslim?

I usually respond with hello with a slight bow of the head (I don't know why).

My question for Muslims, what is an acceptable response that will not cause offence given that I'm of no faith? I don't want my response to imply I am of any faith.

Please do not use this as an excuse to bash.

The Prince of Wales' 44th Birthday official photo from royal family released

Firstly, happy birthday to William and happy fathers day to all.

Now the royals are known to have dabbled in edited photos in the past. Apart from terrible colour balance/exposure (in my opinion), I can't help but think this looks a little botched. William's head/neck position doesn't look natural, almost pushed to the side of that makes sense? (Like the black girl wat meme)

Their teeth also look cropped in as if they were selected from a catalogue (like how you build a character in a game).

Can't help but think if this isn't ai, the original unedited photo probably would be much better.

What am I missing here?

Hi, I seem to be missing something here.

I've tried to look this up on car sale adverts but none seem to have the right angle.

Thanks!

Why is mobile usage so high behind the wheel?

I walk my kids to school / pick them up. Without fail, I see at least 5-8 drivers on their phones. Be it while in traffic or on the move.

Add a few more other traffic violations from parents on the school run. Running reds, driving on the pavement, ignoring zebra crossings, driving on the wrong side of the road, you name it I'll see it.

Today, a guy in a royal mail uniform in his own car on his phone. A woman driving on the wrong side of the road to jump a queue of traffic, a parent having to run and stop their child who's on a scooter from colliding with that car.

Phone usage is instant 6 points.

Why do so many people risk it with such heavy penalties?
