Calcutta conquest vs. slx bfs?

Getting into BFS, I’ll mainly fish small rivers, ponds, and small lakes.
I’m new to bait casting and I know the conquest is the better reel at double the price of the slx. But how big is the difference?

Benchmade tilghman stonewashed tan ring lizard

Posted this a while back under fluorescent light, wasn’t a fan of the boots initially but they look great in natural light. Wore them for Mother’s Day.

My ring lizard boots from ariat arrived today, but I find the scales more yellow than I anticipated…
They fit well and are gorgeous, but I’m not sure about them. What do you guys think?
