The Big Time is not functioning predictably in the FX loop of the quad cortex

Title.

Any suggestions? When the pedal is bypassed, the return gain level matches the send level(which matches the input leve). But once the pedal is engaged, the return gain drops 10-15 dB and the pedal does not function predictably(particularly the level and color faders). Color actually makes it get quieter. It's almost as if the return gain is being limited or compressed by the QC somehow.

The Big Time works perfectly as advertised on it's own.

Thanks in advance, and I know this is the CB sub, not the neuralDSP sub, but I posted there too and no luck so far so I'm just trying here.

Chase Bliss Big Time not functioning properly in FX loop?

Heyy y'all, sorry for another "help pls" post, but I just recently got the quad cortex mini and the chase bliss big time, and while both work great/as expected separately, the big time stops functioning predictably once I put it in the fx loop of the QC. I see online that there's some discussion about how the send/return gain staging functions, but messing with the send/return gain doesn't solve the issue, so I suspect there's a deeper menu setting at play, but I can't imagine what or why.

If you could shed any light on some steps I could take(or are willing to explain the technicals of the fx loop and sends/returns of the QC), I'd be very grateful.

Why did the Goldleaf Merchants build their wagon-based trading post in an impenetrable bog?

Seriously undermines their credibility as merchants. They do not have the infrastructure to support their own operation.

I'd like to speak to the manager.

Please talk me into playing something. I'm on summer break and I need to get sucked in. Haven't gamed in months.

Sup y'all. You seem like a decent bunch. I'm looking to get back on the gaming horse, but I can't seem to click with anything. The last game I really clicked with was E33 last year. 10/10. Love the fromsoft games, bethesda RPGs, hades, RDR2 etc. But I've tried a few games and just couldn't connect with them. So if you could, please help me out with some suggestions or just talk me into sticking with something.

Things I think I want:
PC titles, but controller friendly
RPG elements, particularly a sense of progression and dress up.

Games I've tried recently but didn't click with(not because they're bad, I just didn't get sucked in):
Borderlands 4
Metapher ReFantazio
Eternal Strands
Jedi Survivor

Games I've played and loved that I know you'll recommend:
C2077
RDR2
FromSOFT games
Bethesda games
E33
Hades and Hollowknight games
Mass effect

thanks in advance. I think I'm developing a reddit addiction, so I'm looking to channel energy in a different direction for a few weeks at least.

Begging for help with a Kontakt drum kit

Guys, I know it's annoying for posts begging for help to spam the sub, but AI hallacinated instructions and outdated youtube videos are about to make me blow my brains out.

I love underoath. Aaron Gillespie is my favorite drummer. I'm also in college for music technology and an aspiring producer. Therefore, I just blew $400 fucking bucks on Kontakt 8 and the Gillespie drum library, thinking it was a great investment that would set me up for years to come.

Wrong. So wrong. This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. Kontakt, my midi controller, and logic all seem to have been designed by people who hated one another.

I've been at this for like 10 hours. I've been calling out gemini for hallucinating menus and steps and work arounds.

I've got the drum kit set up as a midi instrument in Logic. However, surely there's a way to set it up so that I can see what drum is programmed to what key, so that I can engage with my 400 bucks worth of drums on the midi roll in a straight forward way? Right? RIGHT?

At this point, I'm certain it would've been more beneficial to just map all 50 or so sounds from the gillespie drum kit. Except I still havent learned how best to do that. I can't believe the integration on kontakt's part is this bad. Logic doesn't seem to be at fault here, but if there's anyway to get this set up in a way that makes sense, I'd really appreciate it. I'm confident NI will never get another fuckin' dime out of me. I should've just used the stock drum kits in Logic. At least then I would've gotten to make some fuckin' music today.

Thanks.

edit/update: I just spent the last 3 hours manually assigning the drum sounds in kontakt to keys on my midi controller. I then build a drum sequencer template used the "learn(add)" function, manually selected the icons and renamed every track, and now I basically have what I wanted 12 hours ago. I guess I'll mostly stick to the sequencer since I'm not a drum anyhow, and eventually if I want to track the drums manually I'll just have to learn my key assignments. Thanks everyone. What a pain in the dick. Native instruments is dead to me.

36m Guitarist with summer free looking to rock out(Hardcore adjacent/Post/PopPunk/etc)

Sup y'all, I started my midlife crisis kinda early and went back to college for music in my 30's. I'm finishing my 3rd year and am feeling good enough about my skill level that I'd love to regularly play with other humans. My experience so far has been limited to school ensembles and solo repertoire.

I'd be down to just jam, cover some tunes or try and write and arrange original material. So if you need a guitarist for a rock project or want to just get a creative outlet going, let me know!

I'm a lifelong hardcore/punk/metal guy, with a healthy dose of emo and pop-punk, but lately my main obsessions have been bands like Drug Church, Mannequin Pussy, Angel Du$t, and so on. All time favorite band is the Wonder Years.

I'm no virtuoso but I have a solid grasp of theory and production, so even if I can't keep time I'll be able to set your guitar up or re-wire your amp for free lol.
