Is there a way to show a movie inside a collection AND outside the collection?

I have Emby Premiere if that matters.

What I would like to do is create a collection of "A24" movies, but still show those movies in the broader movie collection. Or maybe there is some other neat way to do this?

Sorry, if this is a very basic question. I only recently migrated from Plex which I had been using for decades before its recent enshittification.

Which travel agents provide the biggest cash-back/rebates for Celebrity cruises?

I've been using Costco Travel. I have been booking suites and getting approximately 8.5% back as a Costco gift card after the cruise is over.

I don't really need the services of a travel agent. I tend to book everything myself (flights, ground transportation, hotels) and enjoy doing so. I also enjoy shopping for cruises myself. So I'm just looking for the best total cost.

Who else does something similar or better?

I will be in Retreat - any additional fees for anything at Fine Cut?

I've never been to Fine Cut while in The Retreat (with included specialty dining). Are all menu items included or do some of the better steaks (such as the aged cuts) have additional fees?

EDIT: I will be staying in one of the upper suites that indicates included specialty dining.

Math rock bands that made a single excellent album and then broke up

I am struck by recent threads that referenced The Bulletproof Tiger and Clever Girl, both of which released 1 (or 2) albums and then broke up, with no hope of a follow up or tour.

Who else burned brightly and ever so briefly?

What is a song that is a drum solo disguised as a song?

Name a song that would be completely stripped of its meaning and reason to exist without its very specific drum performance.

Is Omakase or Chef's Table included in upper suites?

I'm wondering if Omakase or Chef's Table are extra charges when staying in the Edge, Penthouse, or Iconic suites.

Please recommend non-metal versions of Dream Theater, Tool, Meshuggah

I greatly enjoy the long-form and complex rhythms of songs such as Dance of Eternity (Dream Theater), Pneuma (Tool), and even the poly-rhythms of Bleed (Meshuggah). However, I barely enjoy the sound of heavy distorted guitars and consistently dark themes.

What can you recommend that has less of a metal sound while retaining the complexity of these bands' biggest pieces (without becoming jazz)?

Advice: what to do with item that doesn't match listing and is better than described?

I received a technical sports equipment item that:

  1. Performs the exact function as described, but
  2. Does not match the pictures, and
  3. Is significantly better than the pictures and description, and
  4. Is a known name brand product, not a replica, and not the generic brand represented in the listing. (I am familiar with this name brand and their quality.)

Put another way, the listing shows a different inferior generic brand item, although the product type/function is the same. This feels like a seller trying to get away with something, like trying to sell ill-acquired goods while not attracting intellectual property algorithms.

What should I do? I'm specifically concerned about recent Vine member bans and thus am afraid of being associated with this product.

Experience with Klipsch Heritage and Single Ended Tube amps?

I'm wondering what your experience is with single ended tube amps and Klipsch Heritage speakers. (I have Heresy IV.)

The impedance curves of Heritage speakers swing pretty wildly, at least for the Heresy IV and Forte IV for which public data is available How does that fare with single ended tubes amplification?

I'm mostly concerned with losing bass when the impedance drops low in the 100-300Hz range that seems to be common to Forte and Heresy. I'm also less interested in push-pull tube amps as I assume those cope much better with the impedance swings.

I recently set up these Klipsch Heresy IV speakers. As an audiophile who prizes speakers that measure accurately (e.g. Spinorama), I was surprised how much I enjoyed these speakers. They created the "live" sound of concerts, especially with voices.

It occurred to me that these horn-loaded speakers aren't just a facsimile of live music, but are actually live. Let me explain:

  • Example of live music signal chain: Microphone -> Mixer -> Amplifier -> Speaker that is typically horn loaded
  • Example of music playback signal chain: Microphone -> Mixer -> Recording -> Home amplifier -> Klipsch Heritage horn loaded speaker

In other words, my theory is that Klipsch Heritage speakers recreate the live sound because the Heritage speakers more closely resemble typical live speakers compared to most high fidelity speakers. The effect doesn't work on everything, but on certain jazz and rock recordings, it truly sounds like hearing a band playing in a basement jazz club. Of course, this doesn't work with all recordings - classical, for example, is not Marshall amplified and just sounds muffled. And of course, some recordings are just poorly engineered and no equipment can save those.

It should be noted that I do not consider the Klipsch Heresy speakers to be neutral. Rather, I believe they substantially color the sound, but in such a way that more closely resembles live equipment and thus creates a live sound in a way that more accurate speakers do not.

Details are below for anyone interested. This is not my main listening rig, so positioning is certainly not ideal and I'm sure my hardware and positioning will evolve over the next year.

  • Klipsch Hersey IV (Note: speaker look toed out due to camera perspective, but are not.)
  • Fosi S3 streamer
  • Topping Mini 300
