I'm feeling overwhelmed and honestly scared about marriage. If you've experienced married life and don't mind listening or sharing your perspective also who have went through hard ships and have an idea to deal with it share with me I'd really appreciate it .

If you're willing to help a fellow girl out, please send me a message. 🤍

Is it normal to be terrified of marriage, or is everyone just pretending online?

Hey guys, I'm F25 lemme finish this short and crisp . My last post here was about my parents forcing me to marry, and honestly, I'm just so tired.

I'm genuinely scared about marriage nowadays — and also confused by all these casual terms like "situationship" and whatever else people use now. I need someone who's actually had a bad married life to please educate me with your experience. I know everyone seems happy after marriage in real life, but when it comes to being online and anonymous, everything changes.

I need someone who's married — you can be from any part of India, I'm South Indian but that doesn't matter. Specifically looking for a married woman who had a bad experience after marriage, and how you overcame it. I'm all ears. We can rant together and make our hearts a little lighter.

How do I make my family stop pressuring me into marriage without being hit?

yes I used chat gpt to correct those grammer cuz i have social anxiety

I'm 25F, and two years ago I got cheated on me. It shattered something in me that hasn't healed. Since then, I haven't wanted to meet anyone or think about marriage at all. I'm still trying to process what happened, and I don't feel ready — maybe I never will be, and that's my choice to make.

But my family doesn't see it that way. Every time I walk into my own house, I get side-eyed, whispered about, and pulled into conversations about "settling down." My relatives bring it up constantly, like it's the only thing that matters about me. I've tried explaining how I feel, tried saying no gently, tried saying no firmly. None of it has worked.

What's worse is that ever since I started openly opposing the marriage talks, things have gotten physical. I've been hit in my own home, by my own family, for refusing something I don't want for myself. The one place that's supposed to feel safe doesn't anymore.

I don't know how to make them understand that my "no" isn't rebellion, it's self-preservation. I don't know how to protect my boundaries when the people crossing them are the ones who raised me. I don't know how to heal from betrayal while also being forced to consider marrying a stranger.

Has anyone else been through this? How did you get your family to actually hear you, and how did you stay safe while doing it?

[25F] Indian, lonely after college, looking for Indian women to talk to and make friends

Strictly for woman !
Hi everyone. I'm 25 female from South India. Ever since I finished college I've been feeling really lonely most of my close friends moved away for jobs or got busy with their own lives and I don't have many people to talk to anymore.

To add to it, my family has started making plans for my marriage, and honestly I have so many questions and doubts about what married life is actually like, especially from an Indian perspective the adjustments, the expectations, the good and the hard parts. I don't really have anyone close to me who's married that I can ask these things comfortably without judgment.

So I'm hoping to connect with married Indian women here even just to chat, ask personal questions, and hopefully build a genuine friendship along the way. Would really appreciate anyone willing to talk. Thank you for reading this far
