If you realized you are a "Dimaagi Naxal" just yesterday, then you are not. You are just swayed by the propaganda of real "Dimaagi Naxals"

I started seeing a trend lately of relatively unassuming folks started identifying as dimaagi naxals just because PM said to be wary of such people. Their argument is that the PM is talking about people who generaally critize the government of the day. Either they did not listen carefully to what PM said or they just bought in the lies of the left propaganda.

To give you the context, India achieved a major victory of eliminating Naxals which is worthy to be celebrated. The problem with Naxalism is not just on the physical battle ground, but the narrative which few malicious people spread to encourage people to take up violence against the sate. We all must be wary of such people whether you call them "intellectuals", "urban naxals or "dimagi naxals". Dimaagi Naxals are not a new phenomenon, its worldwide and every democratic country reserves its right to defend against them.

If you don't encourage violence against the state, which is the will of the people, then you are not a dimaagi Naxal. It's as simple as that.

I wish Gym owners in Hyderabad did this instead of waiting until Winter

Every winter, it’s the same story - people suddenly realize that air pollution exists and start ranting about it. The government seems clueless, so it’s up to each individual to take care of themselves. Some of the fortunate ones use air purifiers at home, but what about at public places? Especially gyms, where you need to physically exert yourself and thus breathe in more of the polluted air. Clean air makes a lot of sense in such places.

Yet, the caretakers and managers of gyms don’t seem to care enough. It’s a place for health, so why is this being ignored? I’ve requested my previous gym owners to buy at least cheap air purifiers, but their response has been nothing but false promises at best and plain indifference at worst. I think this needs to change. I know air purifiers aren’t cheap, especially in winter, but health is even less affordable.

I hope any gym owners reading this will listen and take action.

Genuinely curious on why some dance choreos do this

Suggestive dance steps for females

Was recently enjoying anaganaga akasam undi song on loop along with my little kids and this frame caught my attention to come here to discuss. I realized these kind of dance movements have always been a pet peeve of mine. Maybe others have been conditioned with the frequent occurrence of such dance steps in movies and I'm not and hence every time I cringe at such dance movements?

Somehow, I feel, regardless of what kind of dance(even folk) some are not suitable for feminine. They look very suggestive and sometimes outright vulgar. Is it just me? Do I have a dirty mind or being misogynist here? or Does any one else feel the same?

The Lost World: Jurassic Park 64GB DV P7 TueHD remux buffering issue

Hello guys,

Anyone else facing the same issue or is it just me?

My setup:

Nuvio internal player on Dune HD Homatics R 4k plus -> Samsung Q990F -> LG BX via eARC

Same issue or even worse buffering when using Dune HD as external player.

Is it to do with this particular file being DV.P7? Switched to 30GB HDR DTS:X and its playing fine. I did not face issue with other big files like Top Gun Maverick.

More details:

Android TV 14 firmware 7475

latest nuvio from playstore

Torrentio with Real Debrid

Dune HD as external player on Homatics?

Did anyone here try dune hd as external player? how does it compare with internal player?

I tried streaming Top Gun Maverick the other night. Internal player showed Dolby TrueHD on Samsung Q990F, while Dune HD player did not show for the same stream. Audio is set to pass through/bit steam in both nuvio and Dune settings.

New to hats from India.. what should I start with for hot summers?

Hi everyone, I’m new to this sub and new to hats in general, so I need some beginner advice.

I live in Hyderabad, India, where summers are really hot and sunny. I usually wear casual shirts, T-shirts, jeans, chinos/casual pants, and sneakers/sandals.

I tried wearing my white cricket hat for sun protection, but it looked too out of place with my normal outfits and I felt like I was getting weird looks. Hats aren’t very common as everyday casual wear here, but honestly, I still want to wear one for the sun.

I prefer all-around coverage, not just a baseball cap. I tried a Columbia-style sun hat, but it felt too floppy and very “hiking only.” I’m looking for something beginner-friendly that works with casual outfits, gives decent shade, feels comfortable in heat, and doesn’t look costume-like.

I’ll mostly buy online from Amazon India or Chokore. I’ve seen cowboy-style hats too, but in India they can look a bit like kids/costume wear, so I’m hesitant.

Should I start with a Panama, safari, bucket, boonie, or something else?

Disclaimer: I used an LLM to help clean this up, but the question is mine.

Hi guys,

Need a longer HDMI cable since I’m routing it through a custom TV panel hole.

What specs should I check?
I know it should have HDMI 2.1, 4k and eARC. But Ultra High Speed? 48Gbps?

Also, do longer HDMI cables reduce audio/video quality or cause issues? I may get Apple TV 4K later since my TV seems unable to pass TrueHD properly to the soundbar.

With the recent election results in Bengal, I suspect illegals might migrate to Hyderabad in large numbers and push the crime rate up even further. Is the city prepared, or am I overthinking this?

My sofa is against the wall. Where should I place the rear speakers?

Also confused about angle: some online say keep them straight/no angle, others say angle them toward the listener, which would be too steep in my case?

Hi everyone,

The Samsung Q990F is arriving today. The salesperson mentioned that the box includes wall mounts for the rear speakers, but from what I've read online, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm currently hunting for rear speaker wall mounts before the technician arrives for installation in a couple of days. I found this one on amazon that looks decent and isn't too expensive at around ₹698 (~$7.35).

What do you all think? If the default mounts exist, are they sturdy enough, or should I go with the one on amazon?
