Helicopter Circling/Standstill

Anyone know what happened off shore tonight around sunset? It was between Frenchy’s South Beach & The Wyndham Hotel. A helicopter circled around the ocean and then was at a standstill hovering over one spot without moving.

Vacation & Shot Day

Vacation question!

Tuesday is normally shot night. I did 5mg for 4 weeks with no side effects, but also no weight loss. Last week was my first week on 7.5mg and I finally started losing weight, but I’ve also had multiple episodes of urgent diarrhea.

The tricky part is that my GI issues didn’t start until Friday, about 3 days after my shot.

This Friday - Sunday I’ll be at an outdoor event with only porta-potties, and the following week I’ll be on vacation.

Curious what others have done in a similar situation.

Confused about compounded tirzepatide vials

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help understanding how to handle my compounded tirzepatide vials correctly before I mess something up. These are from Hallandale Pharmacy.

I currently have:
Vial 1: 5 mg vial (10 mg total in 2 mL)
BUD: 7/28/26
Vial 2: 7 mg vial (10 mg total in 3 mL)
BUD: 8/3/26

My instructions from the pharmacy say each vial should last about “inject once weekly for 8 weeks.”
Here’s where I’m confused:

I still have a little left in my 5 mg vial.
I was planning to move up to 7 mg tonight.
The two vials have different concentrations (2 mL vs 3 mL), so I’m not sure if I should ever be trying to “combine” anything or if I should just fully switch.
I don’t want to waste medication, but I also don’t want to accidentally underdose or overdose by trying to stretch the leftover 5 mg.

My questions:
When people are increasing from 5 mg to 7 mg, do you typically just switch vials cleanly and stop using the old one?

Is there any safe/normal way to finish a partially used lower-dose vial before moving up, or is that generally discouraged with compounded meds?

Do the “8 week” instructions mean each vial is meant to be used independently no matter how much is left over?

And how strictly should I interpret the BUD dates vs the “8 weeks of dosing” guidance?

I know everyone’s provider/pharmacy may be different, but I’d love to hear how others have handled this transition safely.

Thank you all!

5mg Hallandale

Out of curiosity has anyone “stalled” when moving up from 2.5 to 5? I cannot get over the 196lb hump since I’ve only lost 8lb. I was on 2.5 for 4 weeks and now 5 for 2 weeks. Shot night is tomorrow… should I go up or stay at 5?

From Zepbound to Compound

I’ve gone from 4 weeks on Zepbound 2.5 where I’d wake up the next 2–3 mornings after shot night feeling nauseous (not terrible, but definitely like morning sickness) to taking my first compounded 4.5 tirzepatide last night (Hallandale, no additives) and I woke up completely fine. No nausea at all. Amazing! Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal? Definitely not complaining but want to make sure it’s working :)

A few questions..

I’m about to take my first shot tonight! A few questions I have if someone can please help.
(Pharmacy is Hallandale- 1 month supply 4.5)

  1. When I popped off the grey cap to the vial I am now unable to put it back on. Is that okay? If so, do you keep it in the box or just the plain vial?

  2. I was given 10 syringes & 20+ alcohol wipes.
Will I continue to get these at every delivery?

  3. I only ordered 1 month to try it out. If all goes well, when should I/can I reorder?

I think that’s it for now :)

PCOS & Zepbound Question

Newbie here, so sorry if this has been asked before.

Back story: I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16 and have never gotten a natural period in my life unless it was medically induced. I currently have a Mirena IUD and have had it for the last few years.

I’m on week 4 of Zepbound 2.5 and have lost about 7 lbs so far. Today I started spotting, then developed cramping on my left side, and now it seems like it’s turning into an actual period.

Has anyone experienced this from the hormonal changes or weight loss from Zepbound? Wondering if losing weight this quickly could trigger a period after never really having one naturally.

Thank You!

I just wanted to say thank you as a first time patient with PomHealth.

I was definitely nervous switching from Zepbound to a compounded option, especially with the recent extended wait times (7–10 days), which made me a bit uneasy at first.

However, everything came through smoothly. Within the past couple of days, I received my order summary along with messages from both my RN, and customer service. They sent the prescription to Hallandale Pharmacy, and it was processed and shipped overnight. It arrived today perfectly cold and very well packaged.

One helpful tip: I ended up downloading the FedEx app, which gave me real-time shipping updates that I wasn’t getting through the portal.

Overall, I really appreciate the communication and follow through. Even with the longer wait times, I still received responses to my messages within 24 hours, which made a big difference and put my mind at ease.

I understand companies get busy, but this experience has been really frustrating. Especially for someone who went in labs & previous prescriptions.

I was charged $75 on 4/28, didn’t even get access to the portal until I followed up on 4/30 and still had to wait 24hrs… and since then.. nothing.

At this point, can I ask for a refund so I can take my business elsewhere (and still use the same pharmacy)? This level of service feels unacceptable and very uneasy.

As a newbie I just wanted to check to see if I didn’t get the set up email after the 24hr window they gave what should I do? I want to make sure I did everything correctly when I signed up.
