The Sinking Tower GM Advice?

Basically what the title says. I’m running The Sinking Tower tomorrow for 2 players and it’s our first time playing Dragonbane (but not our first time playing rpgs, it’s a regular activity for the group)! I’ve got my map and minis and I’m rereading the adventure but I also wanted to see if Dragonbane reddit had any advice on how to run this adventure. I’ve run a lot of D&D but dungeon crawls have always been tough for me to run compared to social/exploration-based games. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Game went great! We are planning to turn this into a homebrew campaign so while I don’t need any more advice on Sinking Tower I would love to hear some tips on GMing Dragonbane as an ongoing thing.

Trouble Writing Fantasy Adventures

I should specify this mostly applies to one-shots but I think it can also be said for campaigns. I’m planning to run a Dragonbane game very soon and while I’ve written a number of horror scenarios for games like Call of Cthulhu and Monster of the Week, I’ve found that k struggle with writing a fantasy adventure that doesn’t boil down to “find x”: find the princess, find the treasure in this dungeon, find the artifact thar can restore piece to the land. What are some ideas you folks have had/inspiration you go to to figure out some stories that are less MacGuffin-focused and still fun for your fantasy heroes?

Why the Heck is Only My Doc so Blurry?

I’m having an issue where the text in my google doc is super grainy and fuzzy but the picture everywhere else on the page is fine. Even the blinking bar on the doc is clear, it’s literally just what I’m typing. I’m on DuckDuckGo if that matters. Thanks in advance!

Good Soloable “Big” Games?

I’m debating between a few games that fit this description and I’d love to hear some opinions on which one I’d enjoy most. For reference some of my favorite solo games are Eldritch Horror, Final Girl, Zombicide, Star Wars: Outer Rim, and Massive Darkness 2 (if that counts, that might be more of a dungeon crawler).
I own Jaws of the Lion and Journeys in Middle Earth and really like them both a ton but I am frankly bad at the tactical combat of JotL and put off a little by the app/legacy elements of JiME.
The games I’ve been considering include:
- Dungeon Degenerates (I’ve heard the combat is lacking but as I said, I suck at the more tactical stuff so maybe it’ll be for me - and I love the art)
- Lobotomy 2: Manhunt (though it seems weird to find)
- New Zombicide Game (but I already have a couple)
- Fortune and Glory
- Metal Gear Solid: The Board Game
- Some expansions for Eldritch Horror, Final Girl, MD2, etc.
I’m only planning to get one so I’d love the sub’s thoughts on what’s best here. Thanks guys!!

Is This the Entire Game?

I’m not hating because I enjoy the gameplay loop so far, I just want to adjust my expectations. I have all three of my capos and I’ve done 1 DLC and 1 or 2 neighborhoods. Is the gameplay this pattern of killing/interrogating/destroying and then killing a higher-up until Lincoln gets his revenge/gives up on his path for revenge? Like I said I like the game but it’s lookin to be a lot longer than what I usually play and don’t want to burn myself out on it.
