Thank You Charcoal Community!

Normally my daughter hates burgers & cheeseburgers in any way & cooking style. Well, tonight we put charcoal to the test and proud to say she "LOVED" them.

I seasoned only with Salt & Pepper to let charcoal do it's thing. Side note, what a beautiful sight & amazing smell. Cooked to a perfect medium rare/ rare as which she loves now. 😂

THANK YOU Everyone here in this community for sharing your knowledge and advice on how to best use charcoal!! Kiddo, is becoming a Charcoal Girl with each use. Oh and she wants burgers again tomorrow. 😂😂

First Real Test

Decided to take a chance on posting my first real attempt at using charcoal. Here I did chicken thighs finished with a kiss of hickory smoke, grilled romaine lettuce and sautéed zucchini & summer squash for my wife.

Dinner was so good my daughter went for 2nds & wanted 3rds on chicken. 😂

Haters be Hating

I need to vent and decided to post this because it was so random & kind of annoying. My last mission of the night I had 2 randoms get pissy with me for "farming" kills, searching crates & trying to get XP.

So I made the joke, I'm a Night Lords player and we like collecting flesh & blood. One of them, Space Wolf, fired back that, " Even Night Lords need to get a kill at some point" and other, Dark Angel, said, "honorable kills stolen by lesser chapter brother" (referencing the special kills).

I fire back with YUP and ignored their pissy attitudes because i had XP to get for my Power Hammer, 😂.

Then before end of mission, Wolf Boy said, "Wow the farming is real, too slow". I ignored it because again it wasn't worth it. When end mission stats drop, you can see what my stats, in yellow, are compared to theirs. Huh, ain't that weird. And what's really annoying is before I could fire back with something funny when we got back to the Battle Barge they jumped off. Some Loyalists, am i right?! 😂

Not Just A Hat but a Coming Home

I'm taking a chance on posting this knowing there's a possibility of it being taken down. However, i need to share this with the team & fellow fans who brought me back to watching baseball.

To start, I played baseball from T-ball (5 yrs old) all the way up to sophomore in high-school, 2002. It was always my favorite sport during those years even when I played football. Truthfully I was a Mets fan because being a catcher, Mike Piazza was my favorite player. Anyways, I quit playing in high-school due to favoritism & politics of "who knows who". With that i quit watching baseball as whole because those events soured the sport for me.

Well, this year my daughter wanted to pay softball and she chose to a catcher with out any direction from me. With her playing, she wanted to start watching baseball to learn more. So, I chose the Pirates because from visiting Pittsburgh I have many, many great memories while there and they are one of my best friend's favorite teams.

With that, through all their wins & losses I've become a massive fan of the team & watching the sport as whole. In addition, my daughter & i love the story of "Hoist the Cone!" and bought our own cone so she can hoist it in our living room.

Anyways, if this post gets taken down that's ok, I just wanted to share that this hat isnt just a hat. That its a symbol of my returning to a sport I truly loved and watching games with my daughter which has truly been amazing.

Thank you for your time in reading my long ass diatribe.

So I'm considering reading all the NL books, other then the Omnibus we all love.

Is there a specific reading order to follow from the beginning all the way to "current" time?

I know there's a lot of jumping around in the time line and stories in general but I'd love to start from their beginnings to current to Legion to see how they've evolved.

Going through all my books and I found this lil gem. Sadly, I never read it when I first got it.

With that being said, is it worth a read or just keep it on the shelf?

This book took me over a year to find and when I finally got it in hand I couldn't put it down. As a father, this book hit me on many different levels.
