I’ve been working exclusively remotely since 2023, and the novelty has worn off so I just want to be out and about more during the day.

I’m thinking of signing up to a DL and spending the entire day there and working from there. I am regularly in meetings is the only consideration point, so ideally I’d need somewhere quiet.
Then I can just use the gym, pool, sauna etc whenever work is quiet or any breaks.

Just wanted to check:

1. I know DL advertise working spaces, but are they ACTUALLY usable and a comfortable place to work? I.e quiet enough, you have your own area, etc

2. How often do you see someone doing it? It won’t make me the local club’s freak will it?!

I used to find dips easier but nowadays I much prefer pull ups.

I can do about 15 clean pull ups and only about 8-10 clean dips.

I can also do 3 reps of 25kg weighted pull ups, but weighted dips of 3 reps I can only do 15kg.

I know dips on paper are easier, and I used to think that too. But not sure what’s suddenly changed?

For reference - I’m 27, 181cm and 75kg. I do a simple PPL split, so I train both dips and pull ups twice a week.

I got 20% off my Europcar purchase last week. So Amex already paid me £40 back (car was £200).

My rental is for when I’m going to Montenegro next month.

I’ve just found a better offer elsewhere and planning on cancelling my Europcar, fully refundable.

What will happen when Europcar refund me? Will I get £200 back at first then Amex take their £40 back?

Are there any adult characters in this show that have just always been a good person?

I know “good person” is subjective but e.g never cheated (rules out half the square), stole, never hurt anyone physically, doesn’t go around intentionally being a dick.

I have around 90k in a 4% savings account.

I plan to buy a house within the next 2 years (currently living with my parents).

I will want access to 20k if needed, I.e not all my money can be locked up.

What’s the most effective place to have my money in for the next 2 years? I feel like a S&S ISA for 2 years probably isn’t worth it?

Maybe I’ve got my timelines mixed up but I don’t think George’s dad & Nicola were in the show at the same time, but he seemed to know who she was “you must be Nicola” when she walked in?

And I understand maybe George told Nicola about his dad.

But how would his dad know “you must be Nicola” when she walked in? Even if they were in the show at the same time how would they have known each other?

Have I missed something?
