why are men so boring

i am trying to redesign an oc because of artfight but because of lore reasons i literally cannot make him crossdress which is what i ALWAYS do for my guy characters. this is pissing me off. its so boring. mens fashion is nothing but variations of jackets shirts and pants and its fucking BORING what am i supposed to do with his outfit.

How could I make these two look more like they're associated with eachother?

so like im trying to have these two be apart of a group but no matter what outfit i try to make for nacht (the teapot guy) it just doesnt feel like its matching with verge (thr girl with pigtails) . ive tried so many things, but it either just doesnt feel like him (someone who hates his own weakness so much that will do anything, including hurting others close to him if it means he feels sliver of power.) 💔 he covers his body completely because of the scars on it (second image) which is also the reason i want him to wear a veil or something simalar as hats do not look flattering on teapots. his scars just reminds him of his own weakness which he Does Not want anyone else seeing because he's supposed to look Strong and Powerful and stuff but he just looks like an eboy with these fits on and i have no idea what to do for him. please help.

how could i give the guy on the left an outfit that matches with the girl on the right (without showing any skin)

im trying to make it clear that the two are associated with eachother, but i cant think of any clothes he could wear that wouldnt require him to show skin. im not against guys wearing revealing clothing or anything, but hes trying to hide a fuckton of scars
