The Collectable Exchange is genuinely the worst thing they've ever done.
I feel so bad for people that want Qingyi or Burnice (or Jane Mindscapes). There's absolutely no chance those characters are ever running again because they are "permanently available." But the actual requirements to get just *one* of these characters are unbelievable. Nine copies of a single S-Rank character?! Or eight copies each of two different S-Rank agents. How is anyone ever supposed to make use of this without spending literal *thousands* on the standard banner. Or just pull everyone, hoping to lose nine times to the same standard agent. This is so unbelievable, and I really hope that the devs don't see this shop as a replacement for actually running a character's banner. Lighter hasn't been available in nearly 500 days, and if he just gets added to this shop, I'm genuinely quitting. It's a shame I just don't see any 1.X characters rerunning regularly ever again.
Why would someone want to be remembered like this?
Heya. My name is Heather, I'm a 19 year old bisexual trans girl disaster who's struggling to understand something.
Growing up, one of my favourite TV shows was a comedy series called Father Ted. In a nutshell, it focuses on several incompetent priests getting into trouble with their own religion. There's a significant amount of nuance and deliberation in its humour that made it extremely eye-catching to me. The way it was written focused on subjects like racism and faith but found a way to not be offensive. It's excellent. I would implore everyone to watch it, but...
The man who wrote and directed this show, Graham Linehan, is an anti-transgender activist. It's literally the first line in his Wikipedia article. He's been arrested several times for assault and harrasment of transgender people. Why are people like this? We're not a collective group of criminals, we're just trying to exist...
Why would you want to be remembered for your unfounded hatred and bitterness towards a minority rarher than being remembered for your excellent comedy writing? Why is our well-being so important to some people that it takes priority over their career? Because it's fun?? I'm just so confused...
I experience direct transphobia from some of my family, and comedy shows act as one of my escapes. Except my favourite show is now eternally ruined for me because the guy who wrote it is evil. Fun.
Thanks for reading. <3
P.S. if anyone is feeling down, try listening to the song "Be a Rebel" by New Order. It's quite motivational and has helped get me through bad spots mentally.
Silly purchase? (I can't read Japanese)
The Mother trilogy is my favourite series of games ever, and I really wanted to own them physically. Looks like I'm gonna have to learn Japanese haha
46 years ago today, we lost Ian Curtis. His contributions to music will never be forgotten.
Walk in silence. Rest in peace, Ian.
