This might seem like a minor nitpick of mine that no one would think it's a big problem but I miss when every IRIS album's title had it's own respective font choice to help them stand out from the others, and now with all of them but using ONLY ONE font for the title (except DOTD, for the most part) is... idk, it dosen't feel unique and does not fit with each album's atmosphere at all.

Like, c'mon, HOAA had Capture It, GT had Crushed, and DOTD had it's own custom font, A CUSTOM-MADE ONE, and it RIPPED ASS! and bruh, even FlashDrive: SSD had a way cooler font than these current album fonts, I'm not shaming Will or whoever else making those covers because they could probably be limited on how they should look like by their standards, but man I wish they kept the original fonts...

Why? Because I think his Bullshit Man persona adds more to the character than just an head of a literal bull, it's creepy yeah, but it's funny! Not with that boring, lifeless bull head thing.

Some might say that he can't breathe shit with that mask on or because James is an idiot and lost it so there was no way to recreate it so they had to come up with the easiest solution by making the Bullshit Man an offscreen character like the old days and turn him into a... literal bull, then why couldn't they leave this series to rest after 2014? Because since they acquired Cinemassacre in 2015 and the heavy amount of editing throughout the 2020 episodes and onward, I'll say they're most likely the blame here too, and just like AVGN, their recent episodes felt empty since then (and no the bullshit man in albeit animated form does NOT help it either).

BONUS: Oh wait, actually I just realized that Screenwave... were also behind the distribution of DAOnline's albums and them fuckers caused the DAGames' Press Start to Rewind album to leak early causing major takedowns on fanmade videos and animations on YouTube in 2024... now THAT'S MORE BULLSHIT!

Why, I mean, why? Is this really necessary to rebrand the original WRO channel into HammerScorn and then make a new one under Will Ryan? Yeah, bro made a new WR channel after this rebrand.

I know we should consider waiting for the announcement so we can get full explainations for this, but regardness, this rebrand should have NOT happended, Why couldn't make HammerScorn Media a new channel instead of repurposing the original WRO YT page from 6 years ago for that? Not to mention, isn't HammerScorn like a videogame making IP? There's IRIS and other Pandorium content in there, so is HammerScorn just gonna be a music IP too? That would absolutely age very bad for IRIS.

Think about this, this would probably be dead on arrival for future IRIS stuff, what's Will Ryan Originals known for? IRIS. Solitude. You know it. and since this channel is rebranded to HammerScorn Media, IRIS would get less revelancy now, unless their idea is just make the original WRO channel label not sound generic or some shit, I dunno, maybe because "Will Ryan Originals" sounds weaker and "HammerScorn" sounds like balls to the wall (in other terms, good), or perhaps they're moving the future IRIS projects back to DAGames, but that's gonna be confusing for so many fans because ONE: IRIS is an original IP, despite that it was under DAGames in it's early days. and TWO: DAGames is a nerdcore label, and moving IRIS back to that channel would make things even more confusing than it was. and bonus THREE: who cares, when we will get an official word from them, we'll know.

I know this is overreaction but I just don't know how I feel about this. I was suprised when this change was coming along, I dind't get told of this and I was not ready. this post isn't any means hate to the crew or anybody part of it btw, I have nothing against Will and his friends, and believe it or not, I've still been listening to his music since 2017. I just don't have a good feeling about this, but ig we'll just have to wait and see.

This was my personal favorite SFM film from Valve, I started working on this poster a week ago and I'm really proud with how it turned out!

I honestly wish they did more with the film because it felt like a pilot for a potential series, copium but I would honestly love a full-fledged SFM series of this franchise, and considering Valve is a more than an multibillion dollar company, I think they could do definitely way beyond with it.

It just dind't catch on for me, I dunno how am I going to elaborate on this further.

I remember this channel was still giving me laughs but as time went on, I gradually got bored with it, just the way some people are I guess. like we just go through certain phases and stop watching things, it's not that I disliked this series in the first place, I just felt their humor dind't clicked for me anymore. It's not just humor, it may also be due to how popular DAGames and IRIS were, so it made my expectations for BanterMation much higher.

And to this day, we don't even know why they stopped uploading since October 2023, I guess it may have to do with the animators' personal lifes or the channel funding being low, we may never know.

But if they were plans to bring it back once more, I wouldn't be there, the writing and humor would probably be the same thing and it won't even catch on for me. It's not like the first time this IP suffers a fate like this. DWDally also fell off because of COVID-19 but also because not many people remember it, and even if they did brought it back like they promised in the "2020 with Will" video, we wouldn't care, it's funny because they dind't returned to DWDally anyway lol.

So yeah, this was my hot take about BanterMation, Overall, good channel, had some potential, did get some laughs, dind't get some, but just like with DWDally, it dind't aged well for me, and probably for the best.

C'mon, let's be real, THIS is the real deal, it has the nerd feel, and the AVGN vibe as a whole to it. the short sleeved one that he always uses is overrated, and 90% of the seasons James ALWAYS use it, I can guarantee you.

And no I'm not saying because "screenwave sucks monkey fuck" or "james is getting older", I'm just speaking facts, the long-sleeved nerd is the fucking nerd, and it will always be.

I mean c'mon, they're both always angry, they both have serious anger issues, they both wear glasses, and they both have very sad childhoods. the only differences would be that Gregly is angry on the outside, but sad on the inside, while the Nerd is just a masochist that would rather spend all of his life playing bad games.

The only downsides is Nerd's trademark, his filthy mouth; If he can't swear, he isn't himself, but if he's with a kid, then that would be a problem, you don't want an adult swearing with a child, right? Also, Gregly dosen't really seem to care about a lot of things too, and will nitpick every little flaw in sight, and perhaps, every little thing that's not offensive or not a big deal, and the Nerd wouldn't probably like that, like he'll think Gregly complains everything for the sake of complaining. that would be ironic but the Nerd complains about things with or for a reason, while sometimes Gregly will just... talk smack on anything else even if it's not like they poisons his family's water (unless it's an unholy rainbow of death).

The upsides is that both Gregly and the Nerd seem like the "Gen Z" type of characters, you know what that means; they both stick to the old way of doing stuff and having fun and are not usually the current millennium type of people. If the Nerd complains about an rainbow of death, then Gregly would definitely agree! If an game is terrible, regardess of how old or new it is, it would be the same thing. if they both talk crap on Croblins, they WOULD talk crap on Croblins. it's not even a rare possibility, especially if it's also about Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. They also could understand each other because they both have similar traits as I mentioned before.

Now obiously, this will never turn out well because AVGN (and Cinemassacre as a whole) is more of a mature type of series while BCG is a kids show. Still, it would be so cool to imagine them interracting with each other. If not, then I dunno. I hope they atleast make Gregly wear the Nerd's outfit for any future Halloween episodes (IF there would be any) as an easter egg. I mean, they did it with Half-Life in "Squashed!" and that was an rated-M franchise! so there's no way that would not be an exception with AVGN too, right?

I'mma be real, as much as I liked this episode, I can't help but think it had a lot of missed opportunities that makes me like it less than "Chipocalypse Now", I'm sure you all know the "chip should've died" thing, but there's ONE that barely got any discussion here...

An interraction or fight between Chip and Nick (nancy's dad).

I mean, come on, how cool would that kind of situation be? an country cheating old blort versus an mentally ill manchild, Chip would win but then Nick would still have the upper hand, but Chip would still win, but how can that be possible? that's why I wished to see that in the episode, but nope.

The reason I wanted to bring this up is because Nick was mentioned in "Greens Underground", an episode where the greens hide from Chip under new identities, and he was mentioned as the things "that's all out there" for the greens. and the wiki is stating that Chip is his enemy, well guess what? That's BS. Yes, Nick could have been aware of his actions Post-Chip's Revenge if you imagine that because, well, he's part of the Green family, and the Greens will aways be enemies to the Whistlers, but then again, it's all speculation! We never know if Nick would eventually betray his family to befriend with Chip without being aware of his actions cus he's an idiot, but in another reality Nick would still care about the kids and wouldn't want them killed by Chip so ofc he's gonna have to fight him to get them back, he's their only grampa alive afterall, but also because Nancy fought Chip once, and Nick wouldn't want Chip's plan to succeed either because his daugther likes being in Big City despite being more of a country woman than a city one, and she wouldn't have anywhere else to prank around, but we never know, and that's why the episode dropped the ball for me in terms of expectations.

Don't we feel like we're missing something too? Oh yeah, Chip's father Mr. Whistler... you know, his father? the one who put his son in charge as the CEO of Wholesome Foods just so Chip can run the greens out of Big City? ....no? do we feel like we forgot about him? I sure don't.

Where was he the whole time? Why hasn't he made an appearence since Chipwrecked??? Did he got killed off after that episode or there wasn't any spotlight for him yet?? That's funny because the original ending for "Long Goodbye" had him visit Chip's grave to which he be visited and comforted by Chip who's dressed as a mysterious stranger, and that got cut because it would've led Mr. Whistler to a bigger role in S4, and that wasn't what they were going for.

Well that explains why he got absent since then, because he was perhaps too difficult to develop a story for, or you could say he's just an useless character like Don & Dawn, Ms. Cho, and now Gabriella, well mayyyyyybe when S5 comes along, it'll be the perfect time for the writters to give Mr. Whistler some time to shine, but 100% not because what purpose would he even have that will never matter? That sucks because he could have so much potential like being a friend and supporter to the greens, the others would't trust him tho, but unlike Chip, he's not a snitch, and he likes being a friend to farmers, HE'S A FARMER GUY BY THE HEART! in fact, I bet he would also be friends with Bill, Nancy, and Nick, I mean Nick has no idea who Chip is but wouldn't care anyway, they probably will still be friends.

So yeah, there you have it; No Chip & Nick scene, no Mr. Whistler since S2, me sad, if Chip's Revenge will be Chip's LAST and FINAL appearence in the show, that would be a kick in the balls for me then, unless the writters have second thoughts about it.
