When you have no boundaries with children you get in situations where you can’t handle them

This isn’t to mom shame she’s did what she thought was best in the moment but it’s definitely a cautionary tale. Stassi on her podcast maybe two year ago said something along the lines of I’m not a punisher, I don’t believe In having my children be in trouble , and I remember stopping and thinking oh no that’s not going to end well, as a career Nanny you can tell the children that lack boundaries it not good for anyone, children or parents. You don’t have to be mean to your child to instill positive behavior and have consequences for actions. She made this bed of wild boundless “ hard “ children and now she is laying in it :(

They did Mary so dirty

She was my favorite before she went blind, her character development abruptly stopped after that, they rarely incorporated her into the episodes anymore unless she had some blind school plot line. She can’t just come over for dinner or be at the house? Give sisterly advice during Laura’s problems? They really dropped the ball on her character there was allot more they could of done :/

More of a cerclage question then a short cervix question ❤️

Please oh please if you have any experience or opinions, share them! This is feeling like such a big life or death decision and I really value the women on this pages opinions and experiences

I will try and make this short and sweet, I know when they get super long it’s easier to skip it. My water broke at 16 weeks in my last pregnancy, there was no evidence my cervix shortened at all I was always long, I had bv earlier in my pregnancy but it was gone by the time I ruptured, so basically no explanation , I lost my baby at 18 weeks and am now pregnant again at 8 weeks, I just had my first appointment with fetal medicine and they said there’s not a lot of evidence I would necessarily need a cerclage, they were willing to do it for my own piece of mind but suggested I do checks every 2 weeks.
Has anybody had unexplained premature birth and got a cerclage still in their next pregnancy? Does anyone have any big opinions on still getting a cerclage even if there was no shorten cervix? And has anyone with no history of cervix shortening continued to PPROM and then it stopped with the cerclage?
I appreciate any feedback at all even if it’s outside of these questions I am just having such a hard time with this decision! I want the healthiest pregnancy but they made it seem like the cerclage was so unnecessary

Nanny boy was injured on my watch

Went to the children’s museum today and youngest 2, took his shoes off in this soccer World Cup play area, older boy 5 kept his shoes on, during their play older one stepped on his foot and it is now swollen and hasn’t been able to put any weight on it. I know it’s not my fault but I feel so bad and that I should of told him to put his shoes on ( he takes them off all the time) is any of this my fault please be honest should I do anything? Already sent a text checking on him

I got pregnant in August, my water broke in November carried my baby 2 more weeks despite doctors telling me I could go septic at any time ( if you’ve seen wuthering heights, ya that ) but there was no heart beat 2 weeks later, my baby was 4 and a half months, this has been the biggest heartbreaking and grief, it was my first pregnancy and it’s just been a hard time and so much to process, my due date was on Monday and on Wednesday, my sister-in-law , (my brothers wife) called me so excited that she was pregnant, I know they have been trying for a while, so I am very happy They’ve been blessed in this way, but everything in my body has told me I just don’t have it in me to be involved. It’s just too sad with my current state and situation. I feel so bad and am trying to do this gently but I had to cancel on a family trip because I knew that was going to be a big topic of conversation. Am I being so insensitive, my husband said I’m an ass hole and that I wouldn’t like if someone did that to be but moms who have had loss say this is valid
