MOVA K20 Turbo: ACTION! 🎬

Check out this quick clip of the MOVA K20 in action. What I didn’t share is that I left the ketchup on the floor for about 30 minutes while I set the device up! 🤢

I didn’t rub it in or dump pounds of it out because frankly that’s not real life! Real life is the silent messes you don’t expect.

Mova Home App needs cleaned too!

I think the MOVA Home app is the best on the market. But a few screens feel like they've been forgotten about📱

One of those screens is the "Add Manually" screen, where you pick your device from the catalog. It isn't the most important screen in the app, but it's the first thing you see when you set up a new product, and it's getting harder to use as MOVA adds more models. Here's what I changed and why.

🗃️ Better categories. Right now the mower models sit under a category named after one of its own sub series. I split them out into a clearer Robot Mower category.

🔎 Search. Scrolling a catalog this long to find one model is rough. Let me type it!

📥 A couple of filters. "Most added" and "New releases" would get most people to their device in one tap. It would also be nice to see what has been added recently at a glance or what other users are purchasing more of!

🖍️ Variant labels. There are two products both called Z70 Ultra Roller Complete and no way to tell them apart. Even the full text gets cut off! A one word variant label fixes it. Longer term, I'd move variant selection, especially color choice, to another screen so this one stays clean as the catalog grows.

🏬 While not present in this mockup, I could also see a connection of this screen to the Mall. If you're already browsing products here, a direct link to buy would make sense. I think the Mall tab is underutilized right now. I catch myself going to the MOVA store through a search engine instead of through the app.

What improvements would you all like to see in the MOVA Home app? 💬

🏠 Installing the MMGM30 MAX Garage!

Is a robot mower garage necessary? No! ❌

But here is why I put one on anyway. The stuff that actually wears these machines down is not a single storm, it is the constant exposure. UV baking the plastics and fading the shell. Standing water and grass clippings sitting on the charging contacts. Sap, pollen, and bird droppings landing on the sensors. A cover does not stop any one dramatic event, it just cuts down the abuse the machine takes every single day it sits parked.

Install took about the length of this video and required no drilling into anything permanent.

Worth it? For me yes, but it’s your call 📞

🧹 MOVA S70 Review: My Honest Thoughts After Living With It

I've been using the MOVA S70 for a while now, and I think it's easy to recommend for the right house. It cleans really well, especially for what it costs ($649), but there are a few compromises that are worth knowing before you buy.

The short version: If your home is mostly hard floors, I think you'll be happy with it. If you have a lot of carpet, thick rugs, or heavy pet hair, I'd probably look at the S70 Ultra or another model instead.

👍 What I Liked

🧼 Cleaning performance. This is the reason to buy it. The roller does a really nice job on hard floors and potentially excels over some roller mops I’ve used.

📏 Edge cleaning. It gets right up against edges and under my cabinets where the toe kick is without needing the old "curtain trick" in the app. The slim design fits under almost everything in my house. Oddly enough, it doesn’t like going under my couch which is higher than other things it easily navigates under, but I think I can eventually correct that issue.

💧 No water streaks. Even after increasing the water level in a few rooms, I haven't noticed any visible streaking. The floor doesn’t appear dirty after taking a dry or wet paper towel to it.

📱 The app. The interface is clean, and I really like the extra cleaning modes like Quick, Standard, Intensive, and Deep, along with the redesigned settings and cleaning history. I'd love to see MOVA bring those features to its other robots.

👀 Obstacle avoidance. Overall, it's done well. It gets very close to obstacles without running into them and cleans right up next to them. I’ve only had issues with a few items described below. Every once in a while you run into situations where it’s almost too cautious or not cautious enough.

🌙 No onboard LED. I haven't noticed any issues cleaning in darker rooms even with no onboard LED. This proves that Mova chose the right features to exclude from the device to keep the price low while still providing a premium product.

👎 What Could Be Better

🗺️ Mapping. It needed more help than I expected. It got stuck several times during mapping and asked me to move it. Once I did, it found its position again and kept going really well, but it wasn't a hands-off experience. This was specific to a carpeted room.

🔊 It's loud. I run Max Suction, so that's part of it, but it's still noticeably louder than my V50. The wheels on hard floors are louder, and the dock makes more noise at the beginning and end of a cleaning cycle. The speaker (while adjustable) seems louder too at its max setting.

🚪 Quarter round trim and door stops. This was my biggest complaint. The robot likes to climb onto them, and when the roller extends, the trim lifts the robot just enough that it misses cleaning right along the edge. It always corrected itself, but those spots never looked quite as clean. Eventually I could see it leading to scuffs on my white trim since the roller itself is a black plastic.

⏳ It takes a while to get started. It washes the roller before cleaning, so expect about five minutes from pressing start until it actually begins cleaning. It’s not a deal breaker and I’d rather a clean, wet mop roller, but it isn’t an immediate response for a spilled mess. A vacuum session only begins immediately!

⛓️‍💥 The plastic. It looks nice, but the plastic feels thinner than the V50 and P50. It also doesn't have the magnetic robot lid or the gasket style station lid. Hopefully it holds up well over time, but it doesn't feel quite as premium. However, I do like the removable drip tray included in the charging station which makes cleaning simpler.

🤔 Who Should Think Twice?

❌ If your home is mostly carpet or has a lot of thick rugs, I'd look elsewhere. The roller only lifts on carpet so it can occasionally make the carpet a bit wet, and I noticed navigation gets less confident on plush surfaces. The S70 Ultra introduces a roller shield to protect carpet from getting wet.

🐶 If you have dogs that shed a lot, I'd recommend adding the Clean Chop/TriCut brush or stepping up to the S70 Ultra, which includes the TriCut brush as the standard.

⭐ Final Thoughts
For a home with mostly hard floors and low-pile rugs, I think the S70 is a really good value. It cleans well, gets into places a lot of robots can't, and the Mova Home app is always top notch compared to other brands.

It's not perfect, and I hope MOVA improves a few things in future versions, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for the right home as I still think MOVA produces some of the best robot vacuums on the market.

I’ve attached some videos where I think the S70 struggled. Feel free to pass your own judgement. I have plenty of videos where the S70 excelled that I am not posting! The videos are also on 2x speed.

🤖 Mova Robot Vacuum Naming Guide: How to Decode the Lineup

If you've spent any time shopping for a MOVA robot vacuum, you’ve probably noticed something...

The names can get complicated quickly. 😅

S70 Roller, P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2, V50 Ultra Complete, Z60 Ultra Roller Complete…

What do all those letters, numbers, and words actually mean?

The good news is that once you understand the patterns, choosing between models becomes much easier.

MOVA has officially broken its naming system into four key areas:

🔤 Product Series
🔢 Product Generation
⭐ Feature Level
🧼 Station Type

Let’s break down what each one means!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔤 Product Series (S, E, P, V, Z, Mobius)
The first letter identifies the Product Series.

Each series represents a different focus within MOVA’s lineup, but newer technology has made the categories less of a strict ranking system. A newer model in one series may include features that challenge higher-end models from previous generations.

🏠 S Series – Value Lineup With Growing Innovation

The S Series started as MOVA’s more accessible lineup, but newer releases have pushed the boundaries of what an S model can offer.

The S70 Roller introduced features like:
- HydroForce self-cleaning roller mop
- Slim 90mm body design
- dToF navigation
- Advanced edge cleaning

The S70 Ultra Roller builds on that same foundation with a more advanced station and additional automation, showing that MOVA’s series are constantly evolving.

💰 E Series – Value-Focused Performance

The E Series offers strong cleaning performance while making strategic choices to keep pricing competitive.

Models like the E40 Ultra bring:
- Dual spinning mop pads
- Automated mop washing and drying
- LiDAR navigation
- Strong everyday cleaning performance

The E Series is designed for users who want premium-inspired features without moving into the highest price tiers.

✨ P Series – Performance Focused

The P Series is one of MOVA’s broadest lineups, covering everything from affordable premium models to some of the company’s most capable robots.

Depending on the specific model, P Series robots may include:
- Dual spinning mop systems
- Extending mop technology
- Advanced obstacle recognition
- Automated maintenance docks
- Higher-end cleaning features

The P10, P20, P50, and P70 families show how much variation can exist within a single series.

🚀 V Series – Flagship Technology

The V Series represents MOVA’s flagship approach to robotic cleaning.

The V50 Ultra Complete introduced features like:
- Retractable LiDAR
- AI obstacle recognition
- Warm-water mopping
- Advanced dock automation
- Onboard voice assistant
- Video monitoring

Newer models like the V70 Ultra Complete continue pushing the limits with technologies like MaxiReachX, StepMaster obstacle climbing, and the EcoCyclone bagless dust system.

🔬 Z Series – Advanced Innovation

The Z Series focuses on introducing some of MOVA’s newest technologies.

The Z60 Ultra Roller Complete showcases:

✅ HydroForce real-time roller cleaning
✅ AutoShield carpet protection
✅ StepMaster 2.0 obstacle climbing
✅ FlexScope retractable navigation
✅ TroboWave DuoBrush anti-tangle technology

Rather than simply being “above” another series, Z and V represent different approaches to premium robot design.

🌌 Mobius 60 – Exploring the Future

The Mobius 60 introduces new concepts instead of simply upgrading existing hardware. Often times, Mova considers “Mobius” terminology to refer to the Station Type, but I think it deserves its own series!

Features include:
- MopSwap system with interchangeable mop pads
- 30,000Pa suction
- StepMaster 2.0 robotic climbing system
- FlexScope navigation
- Premium AI features

It represents MOVA experimenting with what the next generation of robotic cleaning could look like.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔢 Product Generation (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70)
The number represents the Product Generation.

This helps identify where a model sits within MOVA’s development timeline, but a higher number does not automatically mean a better robot.

Different generations can focus on different technologies, cleaning systems, or designs.

For example, the P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 keeps the P10 name while introducing significant changes compared with the original model.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
⭐ Feature Level (Pro)
“Pro” represents an enhanced feature level compared with the standard version of a model.

Depending on the product, Pro may include:
- Onboard voice assistant
- Video monitoring
- Improved mop handling
- Additional smart features
- Enhanced cleaning hardware

The exact improvements depend on the specific model. Pro does not simply mean “more suction.”

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🧼 Station Type (Ultra, Plus, Aqua)
The station type describes the level of automation provided by the dock.

🧼 Ultra
MOVA’s most advanced maintenance stations typically include:

- Automatic dust emptying
- Mop washing
- Mop drying
- Water refilling

The S70 Roller vs. S70 Ultra Roller is a great example. The Ultra version keeps the same core roller cleaning technology while adding a more advanced station and additional automation.

📦 Plus
Typically adds automatic dust emptying without the full mop washing and drying capabilities of Ultra stations.

💧 Aqua
Focuses on mopping automation, typically adding mop washing without the complete auto-emptying system.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Other Naming Terms You’ll See:
🎁 Complete
“Complete” does not mean a different robot.

Instead, it refers to the package contents.

Complete models typically include additional accessories such as:
- Extra mop pads
- Filters
- Dust bags
- Cleaning supplies

It is the same core robot with a more complete accessory package.

🌀 Roller
“Roller” indicates MOVA’s roller mop technology instead of traditional spinning or vibrating mop pads.

Roller models continuously refresh the mop with clean water while cleaning, making them especially interesting for homes focused on hard floor washing and stain removal.

🆕 Gen 2
Gen 2 indicates a refreshed version of an existing model.

The Product Generation identifies the model line, while Gen 2 tells you MOVA redesigned or upgraded that specific version.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
How to Read a MOVA Name:

🤖 V50 Ultra Complete
- V = Product Series
- 50 = Product Generation
- Ultra = Station Type
- Complete = Additional accessories included

🤖 P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2
- P = Product Series
- 10 = Product Generation
- Pro = Feature Level
- Ultra = Station Type
- Gen 2 = Updated version of that model

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The biggest takeaway?

MOVA’s naming system can feel complicated at first, but once you understand the patterns, the model names reveal a surprising amount about the robot you’re looking at.

The most interesting part is watching the technology evolve. Roller mops, retractable sensors, obstacle climbing, AI navigation, and smarter docks are changing what each product series can offer.

Which MOVA model are you using, or which one has caught your eye? 👀

📦 First look at the new MOVA S70 Roller!

The s70 is MOVA's newest roller mop robot, and first impressions are really positive. The setup was straightforward, the dock feels premium, and it's packed with features like:

🧼 HydroForce running-water roller mopping
✨ 28,000 Pa suction
📏 Ultra-slim design for cleaning under furniture
🧹 Extending side brush and roller for better edge cleaning
🤖 Smart obstacle avoidance and mapping
🔄 Self-cleaning roller with hot-air drying

This is the more affordable model in the S70 lineup, but it still includes many of the flagship features that make roller mops so appealing.

I can't wait to get it mapped and see how it performs in real-world cleaning, especially on different flooring types with dog hair.

😴 It's 3:00 AM... and you hear a noise outside.

Is it just the dog? 🐶 Or is it something more serious outside worth checking out? 👀

Instead of getting up out of bed and stumbling across the house half asleep, I can pull up the BotsLab W101 and instantly see what's happening both inside and outside. It's a simple feature that's come in handy more than once.

Has a random noise ever woken you up in the middle of the night? 😂

First impressions of Genie 3000! 🌱🤖

I finally got the chance to set it up, map my yard, and send it out for its first mowing run. Overall, I'm off to a really solid start!

A few things I noticed:
Setup was straightforward. Just install the app, create an account, connect to Wi-Fi, set a 4-digit password, and wait for the RTK station to turn solid green. Mine blinked green for a few minutes before locking in, so don't worry if yours does the same.

My mower arrived with only 6% battery, and the initial firmware update requires at least 50%. I'd recommend charging it to 100% before tackling your first map.

Anthbot includes stakes for the charging cable, which is a small but thoughtful touch I haven't seen from other brands. It helps keep everything neat around the dock. I do wish they included more than four stakes for the charging station. They work fine, but having a few extras in the box would have been nice in case one breaks.

The mapping process was easy, and I was impressed with how intelligently the mower adjusted to obstacles. Even though my map wasn't perfect, it got surprisingly close to my fence without crossing the boundary. I also have a yard full of mature trees, and I never lost RTK signal during mapping or mowing, which was a pleasant surprise.

The AI mapping still has a little room to improve. During the initial mapping run it bumped my fence a couple of times and clipped the edge of one landscape bed. If your yard has well-defined borders, I don't think this will be much of an issue. Manual mapping always ends in a better result from my experience with other brands too.

One thing to keep in mind is the maximum cutting height is 2.8". If you prefer a taller lawn, another Anthbot model may be a better fit.

I'll continue testing the Genie 3000 over the next few weeks, but these are my honest first impressions after getting everything up and running. Check out the video for the full setup, mapping, and first mowing run!

Stuck Like Glue 🧴 W101

Lots of condensation this morning, but the Botslab W101 window camera didn't seem to mind! It stayed securely attached and kept doing its thing 💨💪

Accessory Suggestion: Safety Flag!

Your Mova is smart. Cars are not. A bright safety flag makes your robot mower visible to passing traffic, especially near driveways and street-adjacent lawn edges.

📦 WHAT'S INCLUDED

- Hi-vis orange safety flag, with reflective tape for night time drivers
- Heavy-duty suction cup base
- Tool-free push-to-mount post (36” tall)
- Universal fit - no drilling!

✅ WHY IT WORKS

- Attaches in seconds
- Removes for charging/storage
- Stays put at mowing speed
- Visible from 200+ feet

While it may seem silly and I’m making all this up (hah!), I think this could be a welcome addition to Mova’s robot lawn mower accessories! I always fear during over night mowing I could easily wake up to a smashed mower as it can be difficult to spot when driving.

What Mova accessories would you like to see in the future? 👇

📦 Unboxing time! My new Anthbot Genie 3000E has officially arrived! 🤖🌱

First impressions? Anthbot did a fantastic job with the packaging. Everything was protected extremely well, and the mower arrived in perfect condition. While the box itself isn't quite as flashy or retail-display ready as some other robot mower brands I've unboxed, I'd much rather have a product that arrives safely than a fancy box with damaged contents.

One small nitpick: the protective stickers on the charging station were surprisingly difficult to remove and left behind some sticky residue. It's a minor annoyance, but worth mentioning. So far, that's been my only complaint.

As for the mower itself, it's looking very promising! The Genie 3000E is designed for lawns up to 0.90 acres (3,600 m²) and features:

✅ Wire-free RTK navigation
✅ AI vision with intelligent obstacle avoidance
✅ Automatic mapping
✅ Support for up to 30 mowing zones
✅ 45% (24°) slope capability
✅ Automatic cutting height adjustment
✅ Quiet operation at around 58 dB

I'm excited to get it installed and see how it performs in the real world. Stay tuned! I'll be sharing my setup experience, mapping process, mowing performance, and my honest thoughts after I've had some time with it.

Has anyone else here been using an Anthbot Genie? I'd love to hear about your experience!

Use Case #1: BotsLab W101 🥇

One of my favorite uses for the Botslab W101 Window Camera has been checking whether I actually closed the garage door after leaving the house.

Since it's mounted on the access door in my garage, I can quickly open the app and confirm everything is closed without driving back. As an added bonus, the placement also gives me a nice outside view, so it’s like getting two cameras in one.

Botslab provided support for this review, but the experience and opinions are my own.

The moment of truth... what color did my mystery MOVA water bottle turn out to be? ✨

There are a lot of fun colors! Try your luck and let me know what you get!!

Frustration #2: UltraTrim 2.0

One feature I've seen a lot of frustrations about is UltraTrim 2.0. The idea behind UltraTrim 2.0 is fantastic. It lowers the cutting deck and shifts it to the side when trimming edges, helping the mower reach grass that would normally be left behind for a cleaner looking edge.

❌ The problem is that UltraTrim 2.0 currently cuts at a fixed height of 1.2" (3 cm), and that height cannot be adjusted.

For many lawns in the United States (and plenty of other parts of the world), that's simply too short. Most cool season grasses are healthiest when maintained closer to 2.5-4 inches (6-10 cm), so forcing the mower down to 1.2" can scalp the lawn or leave the edges looking brown and stressed.

From what I've learned, Mova cannot make this height adjustable right now because of safety regulations in the US and EU. Since the mower physically lowers the cutting deck AND shifts it to the side during UltraTrim, changing that behavior would likely require regulatory approval rather than just a simple software update. Notice in the image how low to the ground that cutting deck gets to prevent injury to hands and feet!

⚙️ For now, my recommendation is to leave UltraTrim 2.0 turned OFF unless your lawn is intentionally maintained at a very low height.

I really hope Mova is able to find a solution in the future. I think UltraTrim 2.0 has a ton of potential, but it needs a lot more flexibility.

I'd love to hear from other owners:
✅ Do you use UltraTrim 2.0?
✅ Have you noticed any scalping or browning around the edges or has it worked well for your lawn?

Installing BotsLab W101 🛠️

I just finished installing the Botslab W101 Window Camera, and I was impressed by how straightforward the process was. From opening the box to having it fully installed took less than 5 minutes.

One feature I really like is that the setup gives you views of both the inside and outside through the window, so it almost feels like getting two cameras for the price of one.

The video walks through the entire installation process if you're curious about what's involved. I'll continue testing it over the next few weeks and share more thoughts once I've had time to use it.

Botslab provided support for this review, but the experience and opinions are my own.

Frustration #1: Modifying a Zone

Many of you already know I'm one of Mova's biggest fans. I think they make incredible products, but that doesn't mean there aren't areas where I think they can improve.

One of the biggest frustrations I see from mower owners right now is adjusting existing zones. The process isn't the most intuitive, and there are several restrictions you need to work within. For example, you need to start the edit from the charging station, you can't expand a zone into another existing zone, and finally the inability to delete a zone that has since been split from its original zone. Depending on how your map is set up, you may even need to remap part of your yard to get the result you want.

While I'm sure these limitations exist for good reasons, they can still be frustrating when you're just trying to make a small adjustment.

The good news is that once you understand how it works, making a zone larger or tweaking an edge is actually pretty straightforward.

In this quick demo, I show how I adjusted one of my zone boundaries so the mower overlaps my driveway a little more, reducing the amount of trimming I have to do.

What’s Inside BotsLab W101? 📦

I just unboxed the Botslab W101 Window Camera and wanted to share a quick look at everything that comes in the box. The video covers all of the included accessories and gives a first impression before installation and testing.

I'll be using it over the next few weeks to see how it performs in day to day use and will share my thoughts once I've had more time with it.
