4yr old IR just too shiny

Want to get them back to their natural, matte Amber Harness, but I think that ship has sailed. Used saddle soap, and RW leather cleaner. These just dried off and then I used a horse hair brush to put some light cream on them. Still shiny.

[PF2E][Online]

At this point I’m willing to sell body parts to find a PF2E group. I’m available M,T, and Th, 7-11 CST (or comparable times per time zone).

41/m LGBTQ+ ally, been playing TTRPGS for 7yrs. Mostly 5/5.5e, a bit of Starfinder as well. Finding DnD to be a bit too limiting. I have a literal list of character concepts and builds ready to go.

Discord is Warbreaker9847063. Hit. Me. Up. Thank you.

Well…I’m back

Y’all, I fucked up. After lots of advice, I fell for a red herring: The Ariat 8” lift Rebars. Felt amazing, absolutely amazing in the store. Wore them the whole rest of the day running errands, felt fantastic.

Day one, first hour on site, my right foot was already hurting. Felt like I was walking without a boot at all. A few weeks later, they feel only marginally better, the leather is already nicked in a few spots around the toes, and the sole is separating at the toes as well. I’m fucking pissed- mostly at myself.

I’m thinking Danner Quarry’s for a new boot. Had someone recommend it, they’re on sale right now for an amazing price. Thoughts? I’m a general contractor laborer, which means I’m a rough/finish carpenter, lay flooring, do siding, hand grade yards, fencing, insulate foundations, trim painter, and probably a few things I haven’t named.

New Work Boot advice

I work for a nonprofit construction company as a jack of all trades. in any given week, I could be doing rough framing, walking through a super muddy site, grading gravel in a foundation, I could be on scaffolding doing siding, I might be doing cabinets and trim painting. Been at it 4yrs and just haven’t found a “right boot”

First was a Red Wings Exos Lite- very comfy but blew through the soles in less than a year. Got some Thoroughgoods, but their wedge soles turn mud into the icecapades. Went back to Red Wings and got TruWelts. They’ve lasted nearly two years, but are about to die on me.

I could sure use some advice. I was thinking Keen’s 8” heeled Cincinnati’s, but open to suggestions
