Hi fellow musicians! I've been playing classic piano for years and finally have the opportunity to experience in a pop song band for the first time in my life.

I have a Yamaha YC88 keyboard I can carry around (although I've heard it's specialised for organs wth?!).

At this planning stage there's only the singer and me, and I want to showcase to her what I can do as a keyboard player.

The singer has already made all the songs using software and her own beautiful voice.

Soooo what can I really do? I'm COMPLETELY NEW to being in a band. I have heard "looping" although I'm not sure if YC88 supports it.

I guess my major question for now, is how can a keyboard be responsible for as many layers of the accompaniment as possible, so the performance will sound rich and similar to original soundtrack.

I have seen musicians play on iPad one hand to add layers.

What skills should I develop from a classic piano player to a band keyboard player in a short time?

Will you always eventually settle with women, no matter how much fun you had with men, singly because men cannot bear children for you?

It breaks my heart thinking of it because as a gay guy myself how can I compete with a woman in a bisexual man's life because I cannot provide him with a family.

If he really ends up with me, will he regret, when we're both old and have no kids. Won't that be sad? I'd rather be sad by myself...

I want to add a bit of my thought on adoption - in a real world will a bisexual guy really adopt when he clearly had the option of having his own kid?

I know some bisexual top / vers tops, and they all seem to prefer fem bottom, cd etc.. If you're like that, why would you not like masc bottom? Do you get intimidated by them because they're stronger physically?

I've been seeing this middle eastern guy , today he told me he's married for 5 years because " you have to get married and being gay there is illegal ".

I don't know what I should think, is what he says true? Before today I really want a relationship with him, and now this... If he really isn't happy with his marriage I mean I'm happy to help him. But what if he starts to have kids??? It's just too much information for me I guess I can't process right now

I find, as a pianist, it's hard to find musician friends, because of the nature of classical piano that you are your own band and always solo. I do have a keyboard that I can carry around, should that be what I use to jam with other musicians instead?

How do other instrument musicians make friends and find groups to jam?

As a single man living in a 2 bedroom 1 living room apartment, I'm not great at interior design. I have so many needs:

1. I work from home but don't like the desk being in the bedroom, but don't know how to put it in the living room without being awkward
2. I have a grand piano that takes a whole bedroom right now
3. My living room and kitchen are basically one space, and I have absolutely no idea how to arrange furniture to make it aesthetic.

My questions:
- Will they give you several plans to choose?
- Will they recommend you furniture to buy?
- Will they contact tradies to paint / reshape walls and do the renovation?
- And most importantly, what's an estimated cost for a 2 bedroom apartment?

Sometimes I have a melody in my head that I want to write down for future reference, but I don't have the type of 5 lined music book at hand to take notes, and even if I do I'm kinda slow with writing the 5 line score, what's a quicker way for it? It could be an app, a simplified syntax etc.
