The tape has all come off of the drywall . When I felt the texture with my hand, it almost felt like quickset and not all purpose skim coat.
is it worth trying to re-tape and skim over everything, or would it be better to try to forego the tape and skim it with some kind of drywall compound?
This is a labor-only job. They want a new door since the dog chewed up the inside. I was considering charging $600 and allocating a full day to the job, but I'm wondering it that's too low.
My feeling is that as the economy gets worse, fewer people have the spare cash to spend on home improvements. Budgets get tighter. Repairs get pushed back. I just talked with a client who told me that they will have to wait until next year before they can afford to replace their fence.

Customer wants me to raise the floor cabinet up to sit just above the washer and dryer. She also wants me to bring it off the wall a few inches to be more in line with the front of her washer and dryer.

The butcher block obviously can't be supported by only the cabinet on the left. Are Sheppard Brackets the best option for supporting the butcher block on the long edge?
Also, is it okay to install the brack right up against the wood siding, or should I cut away the siding to expose the studs, mount the sheppard bracket to the studs, and caulk where the top of the counter meets the perimeter of the cutaway wood siding?

All of my Bahamian Goats in 4” pots have leaves that look like this. I just moved them into #1 nursery pots this afternoon, and that was overdue.
Is this sunburn? NC has had a 105 F heat index for the last week. Were they just in pots that were too small? My other peppers in #1 nursery pots and 1.5 gallon pots did not get burned at all. I had watered them the night before, and the soil in their pots was moist when I found their leaves looking like this.
Relative to other plants, peppers do prefer drier soil. However, in the heat of the summer in NC, the peppers I have in 4" pots are needing water almost daily. I almost lost a couple when they drooped too much and I was late getting home that day.
Newer growers are often advised not to water peppers too much, but under certain circumstances, frequent waterings are necessary and will not harm the development of the plant.

I've been going to the wave pool in VA beach, so if I can keep progressing there, I may reward myself with a Puddle Jumper in the future. I'm 5' 11" at 196 lbs. I was considering getting the 5' 7", 5' 9", or 5' 11" version. I was leaning more towards the 5' 11" version since it's 41.75 liters in volume. I'm just afraid that I'll give up performance and fun if I don't get something smaller like a 5' 5" or 5' 7".

I know that it takes a full month for the drug to take full effect, but I'm already feeling a difference. My emotions are not super up and down, I feel MUCH more level-headed, and I feel like I'm able to make better decisions. I don't experience racing thoughts to the same degree that I used to.

My GF's toilet paper holder is moving on the wall. How easy of a fix is this? I can see that there is a screw below the holder, but I don't know what the mounting bracket will look like when I remove it.
Has anyone done this kind of repair before? I don't mind buying a new holder from Lowe's, but I just want some advice so I know what I'm getting myself into before I start. I told her I'd get it done before she gets back from vacation in a week.
