Curtain help!

Hi all,
I’m looking for some advice about some second-hand curtains I recently bought. I don’t have much experience with curtains, so I’m a bit lost!

We love the fabric and would really like to use them in our bedroom, but I’m not sure how they’re meant to be hung or what needs adapting. I think they’re pencil pleat curtains, but they don’t seem to have any of the cords or curtain hooks attached.

What would you recommend? Is there an easy way to get these ready to hang, or would it be better to have them reworked into standard pole-top curtains? Unfortunately, they’re not quite long enough for us to lose much fabric in the process.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

“I wish someone had told me…”

Currently 32 weeks pregnant with my first and starting to think a lot more about labour, recovery, and the postpartum period.

I’ve focused a fair bit on staying active and healthy during pregnancy, but I’m realising there’s probably loads of things people only learn after the fact 😅

For those who’ve been through it, what do you wish you’d known during pregnancy that would have made a meaningful difference to labour, post partum recovery or just your general mental health?

Particularly interested in practical things that actually made a difference rather than generic advice!

Would love all the “I wish someone had told me…” advice - especially from active/fitness-minded mums who maybe struggled with the sudden loss of routine/independence too ❤️

A TFL Bus crashed into my stationary car and isn’t accepting liability….

Looking for advice!

On Saturday, a TFL bus crashed into my car when I was parked in an appropriate bay. Luckily I was in the car because the bus driver tried to drive off! The driver was very aggressive regardless of me remaining calm, which is more surprising considering I am 7 months pregnant. We have contacted TFL today and they have offered to pay for all damages (inc. supplying a replacement car whilst ours is fixed) but wont accept liability. It is clear (and evidenced from their bus cameras) that the bus is in the wrong.

Shall I push back on the fact that they aren't accepting liability, and why aren't they? Is it just so we cant contact them in a few years claiming medical damages (which we wouldn't do anyways). Could this impact our insurance down the line?
