doctors won’t run a full panel

i’m so frustrated. i’m cold all the time, my hair is thinning, i have heart palpitations, weight gain, and every time i mention my thyroid my doctors will only test my tsh. since it comes back “normal” they don’t run any further thyroid tests. i’m ANA positive and i brought up hashimotos to my rheumatologist and she only tested t3 and tsh. i’m so sick of dealing with this. i’m low income and paying for the panel myself is like $250. i don’t know how to be taken seriously. i don’t get why they won’t just run the whole panel. i’ve been in and out of the hospital and trying to get answers. i’ve had 70+ appointments this year, numerous specialists and no one seems to care because im “young” (late 20s) and a lot gets blamed on my anxiety

is this normal?

i’m feeling like a therapist i thought was good might actually be causing me more issues….it feels like we spend a lot of time talking about her. an example is:
one of my goals/issues is (mending) a complex relationship with my parents because they are emotionally immature and unavailable. she then tells me her parents were the “best” growing up and that’s why she turned out so well. i’m like great… but i didn’t have that privilege which is why i need help? i then had a surgery which caused a lot of anxiety and she told me i should’ve asked my doctors if it was really necessary. it takes so much to ask for help and tell someone these things and then i feel like i regret even opening up

Who here is in their 20s?

I had a lumpectomy at 22. Now in my late 20s, with 4 biopsies, a mammo, and a million ultrasounds under my belt. Most of the support groups I’m in are women who are 30-40 years older than me.

BI

My BI called a coworker and asked if I had any “mental disorders” is this allowed/normal? They also called someone from my church and asked if I was “awkward and weird.”

double mastectomy

has anyone had a double mastectomy done in their 20s? I’m 28 and another breast tumor was just found :( this is the third tumor I’ve had in the last 6 years, also my 3rd biopsy, and probably 20th ultrasound. I am so overwhelmed and exhausted. I feel so alone

i’m 28 this was supposed to be my first colonoscopy and endoscopy. i did all the prep was hooked up at the hospital and the anesthesiologist came in and said he wasnt comfortable proceeding. I have POTS and my HR stayed in the 120-130 range and he said it was a “risk” . I made everyone aware of this beforehand. I am so upset and now I just have to sit with my issues without answers for even longer
