BCA or BCA with specialization in cloud computing and cybersecurity?

First sem into a BCA with Cloud & Cybersecurity specialization at an autonomous university. mine actually has domain-specific courses from sem 1 itself, networking fundamentals, intro to cybersecurity concepts, alongside the usual programming/DS core and stuff like that

So it's not just a naming gimmick on paper (i think). But I'm still not sure if recruiters actually weigh the specialization tag when screening resumes, or if it just comes down to certs, projects, and internships regardless of what the degree says.

Building certs (eJPT etc.) and projects on my own either way. just trying to figure out if the specialization itself carries real weight, or if I'm overthinking a label.

Anyone who's hired freshers would appreciate a reality check.

Is the road safety class certificate compulsory? i have my driving test coming up in 2 days and i lost this certificate. my driving school sucks and won't help. do i got any other options or is my test doomed

By college bus, i have no idea how exhausting its going to be. Anyone who's already doing this? 🤔

Finished my 12th and im having second thoughts about college. Currently im set to join a fairly decent college in bc a honours cloud computing and cybersec. The brand is well known but the course is fairly new and is autonomous do their curriculum is good.

But the fees are high (around 5 lakh in tution fees) and its like 45km away from my home even though they provide college bus.

I dont want to land a job from the mass recruitment companies, i want to get specialized as early as possible.

So i was planning to do an online bca degree from amrita, manipal or any other reputed institution, and attend cybersec academy and/or stack IT certs for cloud and cybersec on the side.

I know this sub generally has a very pessimistic dudes all around crying about shit. But i'd like to get advice or opinions from the experienced members here, thank you
