Leaving Finance Job after 16 days of Joining

Hi everyone,
I’m 24, and honestly, I don’t know what the right thing to do is anymore.
I completed my Bcom from Delhi University and my MCom from a small college in Uttar Pradesh. I’ve also cleared 6 out of 13 ACCA exams.
After searching for a job for almost 8–10 months, I finally got an opportunity at Northern Trust as an Analyst in Pune. Getting this job meant a lot to me. I had to leave my hometown and move away from my family, who live in a small town in UP, but I felt that this was finally the beginning of my career.
Then everything changed.
My father was recently diagnosed with vasculitis, an autoimmune condition where the immune system starts attacking the body’s own blood vessels and organs. I immediately booked a flight and took him to Chandigarh, where he was admitted to the hospital.
The doctors have told us that he may need to be on steroids for a very long time, possibly for life. Hearing that was honestly scary.
Now I’m completely confused about what to do.
Should I leave the job I spent 8–10 months trying to get and move back home to be with my family? Or should I continue working in Pune and somehow manage my father’s treatment from here?
The decision feels even harder because we don’t come from a financially strong family. I can’t simply quit my job and assume everything will work out. At the same time, I keep thinking, what if my father needs me and I’m not there?
I worked really hard to get to this point, and now, just when I thought I was finally getting my career started, this happened.
I know there may not be a perfect answer, but I would genuinely appreciate advice from anyone who has faced a similar situation. What would you do if you were in my place
