The positions on the site list when the shifts are supposed to start. I applied for one and tailored my availability to match that window (with some extra time added on surrounding it). I called the store and they told me they weren’t actually hiring for the time posted on the website (listing was still up though, kinda weird) but that they might have an opening if I changed my availability. Am I expected to have a super wide window or something?

These are the kinds of people I vibe with the most I think. Someone I can go watch The Odyssey or Dune 3 with and talk about it for an hour in the car afterwards. Or we tell each other about the weird research rabbit holes we went down recently. Get into a new game together and lose ourselves in it. I love finding things to get excited about and sharing in that with people!! I love yapping!! It's the best!! Nothing beats that feeling of being on a wavelength with the right kind of person. That kind of shared understanding on a level deeper than speech. Going on adventures, having new unexpected experiences, thing's going wrong but we laugh through it together, you know, all that cringe cliche shit that makes life great
I want to read The Wheel of Time, I want to backpack across Asia, I want to play Elden Ring, I want to study economics and history and a trillion other things that I'll never get to, I want to do that thing people do at Epcot where they drink their way through every country, I want to try every cuisine in the world. And cool people to share it all with! (cheesy ass post i'm so sorry)
It'd be cool to meet people who understand mental health struggles. You can be happy and normal though, that works too
