I wanted to get back into Metin after a long break and was wondering which server you would recommend. About 1½ years ago, I used to play on Tigerghost, but this time I would like to try a different server.

I remember there being a server where you could pay around €30 for six months of access. At the time, I was too cheap to try it. I believe the server was called Ruby.

Was Ruby good back then, and is it still a good server today? I wouldn't mind the subscription model, since you can supposedly make back roughly the same amount through the rewards you receive, which you would normally have to buy with Coins.

Another important point for me is that I don't want to have to create 10+ accounts just to keep up with other players. Personally, I would be fine with having a maximum of three accounts: my main account, a buff account, and a farming account. I would prefer to focus on progressing with my main character rather than managing a large number of accounts at the same time.

So, which server would you recommend for someone looking to start playing again?

P.S: I can speak english and german and a little bit turkish.

I installed the Epitome Launcher, and it opens without any issues. However, after I log in, I see the following message, and then nothing happens:

"This update helps us properly manage Kickstarter rewards. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding!

If you were a Kickstarter backer, you’ve received an email with steps to restore your access.
If your access was granted by another player who purchased a pledge, that person has received instructions on how to re-assign your access."

After that, nothing happens. The Account data is right. I checked ID and PW three times.

Guten Abend,

ich nutze seit einer Woche die kostenlose Version von AVG. Anfangs hat auch alles einwandfrei funktioniert, aber seit zwei Tagen tritt ein Problem auf: Sobald alle Schutzmaßnahmen aktiviert sind, funktionieren Google Chrome und Microsoft Edge nicht mehr. Ich kann keine Webseiten aufrufen. Bei YouTube lädt die Seite zwar kurz, danach erscheint jedoch die Meldung, dass die Verbindung erneut hergestellt wird – als hätte ich keine Internetverbindung.

Komischerweise funktionieren andere Programme problemlos. Ich kann zum Beispiel online spielen, Steam öffnen und dort auf das Forum zugreifen.

Sobald ich den Webschutz in AVG deaktiviere, funktioniert Google Chrome wieder ohne Probleme.

Ich habe meinen PC sowohl mit AVG als auch mit Windows auf Malware überprüfen lassen, aber es wurde nichts gefunden.

Die einzigen Erweiterungen, die ich in Google Chrome installiert habe, sind AVG Online Security und Adblock Plus – kostenloser Adblocker. Die Erweiterung AVG Online Security habe ich allerdings erst nach Auftreten des Problems installiert, da ich von AVG dazu weitergeleitet wurde. Den Adblocker hatte ich bereits vorher installiert, und trotzdem hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert.

Es scheint also, als würde AVG mit aktiviertem Webschutz sämtliche Webseiten blockieren weil internet funktioniert ja. Ich habe leider keine Idee, woran das liegen könnte. Hat jemand eine Lösung oder einen Vorschlag?

PC build

I’d like to get your opinion on my PC build. Maybe better components with equality quality and price (maybe lower).

The main focus is gaming at 1440p and 4K. A 1 TB storage capacity is enough for me.

If I replace the GPU with an RTX 5080, would I need to change any of the other components?
