Hey Folks
My_Qualifications: BA Hons from Delhi
Going to study MSc Eco at UCL this September. I am looking for help with accommodation in London, don't want to travel much hence looking for something close to campus.
I am from Lucknow, India.
Hey girls, looking for bridal makeup artist recommendations in Lucknow — especially from brides who prefer a very natural/no-makeup makeup look.
To give some context, I’m someone who barely wears makeup in daily life. My regular routine is literally just sunscreen and maybe lip balm on a good day 😭
For my engagement recently, I hired a Delhi-based makeup artist through a relative’s recommendation. He was MAC-certified, had worked with YSL, all the fancy credentials — and I ended up spending close to ₹30k. The experience was… decent? My pictures came out nice and people liked the look, but personally I didn’t feel fully comfortable throughout, and I wasn’t very happy with the hair either.
Now I’m looking for a bridal MUA in Lucknow for my wedding. I have 4 functions and want makeup for 3 of them, but the quotes I’m getting are honestly shocking — ₹2–3 lakhs. And I genuinely can’t decide if it’s worth it. I don’t mind spending money on things that feel tangible to me (gold/jewellery/etc lol), but spending lakhs on something I’ll wash off in a few hours just feels a little unreal.
At this point I’m also questioning whether I even want heavy bridal makeup, or if I’m just giving into wedding pressure because everyone acts like you absolutely NEED a celebrity-level MUA to get married properly 😭
Would really appreciate:
- Recommendations for artists who do soft, elegant, skin-like makeup
- Brides who skipped heavy bridal glam — did you regret it?
- Honest opinions on whether these luxury MUAs are actually worth the money
Please help a confused bride out 🥲

Hi, I am launching my business a QSR service around fermented breads. I am looking to hire a passionate bread baker.
This is a production-first role — not plating or fancy hotel work.
You’ll handle starters, dough cycles, and help build systems from scratch.
What you get:
chance to build a brand from day 1
real ownership (not just execution)
growth into kitchen lead role
