Need recommendtion for group tours to Spiti

Hey guys,

I want to book a group tour to spiti and am looking for recommendations. I am a solo woman traveler hence I need to make sure the agency is safe.

Also need to understand your Throughs on a trip in July. Is it a good season to travel? What would my cons be?

Spiti Valley in July - Anyone going?

I want to join a group trip and was wondering if any other women are planning a similar trip around that time. It would be nice to connect, share itineraries, and maybe have some company on parts of the journey.

Feel free to drop a comment or DM if you are heading that way around July'26.

Day trip to Ranakpur Jain Temple & Kumbhalgarh Fort (Light & Sound Show).... Totally Worth it....

Ranakpur Jain Temple honestly left me speechless. And trust me, that rarely happens. The marble work is so unreal it almost looks AI-generated… except it was built centuries ago by people with talent and patience I clearly do not possess.

The taxi from Udaipur cost me around ₹5k which, as a solo female traveller, hurt my wallet a little. And the ride back at night? Equal parts peaceful, eerie, and feels like it could turn into a crime documentary 🙈 But despite all that .. absolutely worth every penny.

Also, don’t just do a rushed early morning visit and leave. Leave by 12 pm for the temple & stay for the evening light & sound show at the fort. Watching the firt lit up at night is genuinely magical.

Things to keep in mind:

- You can’t carry water or snacks inside the temple, so leave everything in the car.

- Taxi drivers may tell you there is no light and sound show at the fort.” There is. They just want to head home early. Pay a little extra like I did.. but Stand your ground.

- The 4puja highway stretch gets VERY lonely ( no street lights) at night. I was mentally drafting goodbye messages on the way back. If possible, travel in a group, avoid getting too late, and stay alert. Solo travel is beautiful, but survival instincts are free and useful.
