Harrison’s Career Parallels: Dexter Season 1 vs. Resurrection Seasons 1 and 2

When we first met Rita in Dexter Season 1, she worked at Z Hotel Reception Desk as Hostess/Concierge. In Resurrection Season 1, Harrison lived in NYC and worked as a Bellhop in Empire Hotel.

Debra began her career in Law Enforcement as an Officer in Vice in Dexter Season 1 but quickly transferred to Miami Metro Homicide. In Resurrection Season 2, Harrison will begin his career in Law Enforcement as an Officer in the New York Police Department Homicide Division.

Great way to pay tribute to his mom and aunt.

Perhaps we see him as a Chef and/or a Florist to pay tribute to his step mom who raised him in Resurrection Season 3.

Theory: Julie needs ———‘s help for bookmarks to work

VICTOR

Julie will need to work with Victor to fine tune her story walking bookmark theory.

IMO, every time she walks into the past, she will need to bring/carry individual items that belonged to former Fromville residents (the ones that Victor saved in his suitcase on BIW’s advice), in order to reach their chapter in the story, in which they were killed (and/or eaten).

Randall can continue to function as her muscle who pulls her out of each chapter (5 second rule).

Instances seen so far:

- When Julie is with Ethan and story walks for the first time after being attracted by the ruins, she’s wearing a down coat which could’ve belonged to her mom. She sees Tabitha (and Victor) being tortured by the Anghkooey kids’ cries. She’s also wearing some of her own clothes, and sees herself in the ruins torture chamber chained to the wall.

~ In S3 E10, Julie was wearing a light sweatshirt and a dark jacket on the day she story walked into the chapter of Jim’s throat being slit. Either of those could’ve belonged to Jim.

~ In S4 E2, Julie was wearing a dark coat and reached the RV. That coat could’ve belonged to Jim.

- In S4 E4, Julie’s shirt could’ve belonged to the body that she saw in town. MIY could’ve been eating the owner of the shirt’s liver.

Mid Wilshire’s New Rookie: Going into Season 9, which character or personality trait would you want to watch next?

We’ve seen 10 Rookies walk through the halls of Mid Wilshire in 8 Seasons.

Per Deadline’s Interview with Alexi Hawley:Going into Season 9, we would need a new rookie, at least one. I want to figure that out.” He added that “A rookie is always an opportunity to serve two stories. One is, who that person is, and then, how that person affects everyone around them, especially their training officer.”

Note: Alexi confirmed that “Miles won’t be a rookie any longer, and that Dash is ineligible to be a rookie.
