Jibhi - Shoja , Lovely People , Beautiful Views.

Roads are a bit bumpy due to extreme rains last year but it's worth the bump.

Stayed at The Pahadians - Ghyagi Village , it's between Jibhi and Shoja so it's easy to move either side. I don't know about the owner but the person managing it named Ayush is a very nice person , cooperative and friendly. Good food cooperative staff nice view , what else do you want. They have 2 dogs , kalu and Buzo , both are fun . Ask Ayush "bhaiya ye gate kitchen ka gate yahi se khulta hai kya'' , he will laugh out loud

Things to do : -

  1. Shoja Waterfall , 40 mins trekk , but less crowded and peaceful .

2.Raghupur Fort Trekk , again 3 km trekk , 1.5 km easy 1.5 km moderate. Camping on top is worth it. 1000-1500 per person b'fast and 1 dinner included and 2 teas. The views from the top are mesmerizing , you can experience weather changing every 10 mins .

  1. Sajwar Village : For star gazing one of the best places , evenings are quiet and soothing.

Tourist locations :

  1. Jibhi waterfall : a small waterfall , limited space to enjoy. Go to shoja Waterfall it's worth it.

  2. Mini Thailand : it's rocky structure looks like Krabi , Thailand , that's why mini thailand .

Cafes i liked : Old school cafe river side , nice food and river flowing nearby .

Bleeblue cafe : Good food , rejuvenated ambience.

For an offbeat location I chose Seri Village, 5-6 km uphill from Thachi bus stop. I Stayed at Avasa Cafe and Stay . Trust me one of the best stays in this valley , Good Food , amazing views , The owner named Vibhu is super cooperative and the people of town are friendly too. On the last day I got stuck because of the road blockage due to heavy rain and Vibhu dropped and helped me with luggage to come down until jibhi.

Things to do

  1. Balu Temple at bahu village : nice views and meadows at end , just stay there for and hour and you enjoy the pleasant views.

  2. Use trekk to enjoy the valley views through trekk which locals use , easy way to enjoy valley and town . Ancient wooden temples , Apple Orchards and Traditional water mills. Lovely people.

An authentic escape from bustling tourist towns.

Himachali Mountains really hits different . Jibhi - Shoja - Shangarh

Himachal is blessed with bountiful beautiful mountains and people in this Jibhi shoja area are really helpful .

  1. Shoja Waterfall - 30min trekk

  2. Raghupur fort trekk - 3 km , 1.5 km easy 1.5km moderate

  3. Sajwar village - offbeat village , amazing place for star gazing .

Few tourist spots like :

  1. Mini thailand , it's rocky structure looks a bit like Krabi , Thailand .

  2. Jibhi Waterfall : Not exactly a waterfall , just a demo of waterfall .

For 1 day offbeat location I stayed at Seri Village and stayed at Avasa Cafe and Stay , Good food , Amazing views and Super Cooperative owner (Vibhu ). Must go if you want to explore an untouched valley . Peace at its best . And try to come down from locals trekk area , you will enjoy it .
