C5-c6 Nerve irritation all help appreciated

Hey all ,

9 weeks ago I started a desk job and long story short faulty equipment has caused c5-c6 Nerve irritation

Deltoid pain , tight neck , hand burning bilaterally

I've had a clear MRI but neck is just tense

Work seems to me the main driver and maintainer of my symptoms.

When I pull cahir in and rest arms on desk elbows are slightly out and shoulders roll forward which apparently isn't good for this never bundle

So for weeks I have had keyboard at end of desk so I can have elbows in line with shoulders and elbows s next to ribs but this seems to have caused my neck to keep tensing dimue to having to hold my arms all day at work

The cahir arm rest caus super abduction and I'm not allowed a new chair

Has anyone dealt with this before and how you managed I'm so close to quitting and then losing my mortgage as this is disabling me

When I leave work and weekends symptoms improve dramatically

Thank you all

Military neck help

Hi all I posted not too long ago about deltoid pain.

Turns out I have military neck ...going on six weeks causing awful pain.

My desk is 75cm high and my elbows crease at 67cm

So I am going to raise myself via cushion....problem is I have no armrests the chairs work provides (and won't let me bring in my own ) have these ridiculouslt wide armrests.

So is havi g keyboard and mouse at edge of the desk and letting elbows hang next to my ribs a bad idea as I have no idea how to fix this now

Big toe Injury

Hi all,

In need of a bit of help with a big toe Injury.

Four months ago playing padel I twisted on my left big toe felt a twinge but all was well.

For the next few weeks I was limping with it but that eased.

I've had it confirmed non fractured and I kept getting told to just take NSAIDs.

Thing is every step I take hurts the bottom of the toe that joint that connects to my foot hurts everytime I push off

I haven't been hiking or running or playing usual sports which in getting sick of and I can't stop walking the only walking I really do now is going from metro to work.

Would anyone have any idea of next steps here like a splint etc

Neck spasm new job

Hi all

In need of some help. I started a new job and my chair had a slow leak , by day three my arms were in agony. Turns out my neck has spasmed, an x ray showed my cervical spine is straightened causing all these symptoms etc.I am on muscle relaxants but every time I sit at my desk I am in agony. I can feel the tension in my neck.

I have tried new chairs, monitors both central etc.

My problem is I don't seem to be able to be in a position at work that allows my neck to relax.

Have physio booked also but appointments are hard to get and struggling to get through work days

Any help appreciated

Deltoid and shoulder pain

Hi everyone,

I started a new job I'm a week in and my deltoids are destroyed. Especially my mousing one.

Over the weekend they settled a bit but I'm genuinely terrified of being in work.

Has anyone got any tips for deltoid pain

I haven't had this with other jobs

Tia

How do I get leads?

Hi everyone,

New to sales and unfortunately have a not so great product, health and safety training. Employers mostly only seem to care about it when they get audited and fail.

I have been given nothing but a computer and told to sell.i have paid for sales navigator but cold outreach doesn't seem to work at all.

When people talk about warming people up etc what does that mean exactly. Any examples would be greatly appreciated as would love to build confidence in sales in general.

Entry level supply chain roles?

Just wondering if anyone in logistics or supply chain would be able to point me in the right direction. Changing career nod 30s , was healthcare in the UK but having no luck with the HSE. I'm enrolled on an MSc in supply chain starting September part time and would love to get some experience while doing it.

The market is tough as anything, just wondering if anyone has any tips or Jobs to search etc

Appreciate the time 😊
