I have a 6 month old and live in reno, trying to get out and be somewhere safe enough to swim and not too far from reno !! Let me know your recs :) TIA

My boy is 5.5 months old and shows a huge interest in food. Every time I eat he is watching the spoon go into my mouth and opens his mouth. He’s able to sit up pretty well, but needs assistance 99% of the time. He holds his head up perfectly fine, I’m just not sure if at this point food is just for fun or if there’s any benefit in introducing foods to him this early?
