Schedule help

My son is 6 months old and I’m struggling a bit with his schedule. He can easily handle a 3 hour wake window, and 3.5 is fine too. I see a lot of people saying to transition to 2 naps with 3/3.5/3.5 WWs. The issue that he averages 11 hours awake a day, so those WWs would be too short for us, but I’m not sure how he’d cope with a 4 hour wake window. Another issue is if his wake windows are too short, then he doesn’t nap well. He had a 3 hour wake window this morning and is napping now (has been for about an hour). Yesterday his first wake window was less than 3 hours and he only napped for 20 minutes, which meant his second wake window was also short because the nap wasn’t really restorative and he dozed off in his pram.

Is it okay to have a little less day time sleep during a nap transition? Should I try 3/3.5/3.5? What do I dooo? 😅😅 any advice gratefully received!

Best supermarket for frozen veggies?

We’re going to start weaning our soon-to-be 6 month old in the next few days. I was wondering if anyone has any preferences for supermarkets for their frozen fruit/veg selection? I’m hoping to get bags of individual fruit/veg, not medleys. We live in the centre of Norwich, so can drive to all the big supermarkets easily enough, but I’m so used to walking to Sainsburys or M&S that I’m no longer familiar with the selection elsewhere. I went to Sainsburys and M&S today hoping to buy a bag of frozen avocado pieces (I swear Sainsburys used to do this) but neither had it. Thank you!

Hi all, I was hoping for some advice regarding naps. My son is 5.5 months old and naps for between 2.5 - 3 hrs a day total, currently split between 3 naps. Our WW are something like 2/2.5/2.5/3, but it will vary a bit depending on how long it takes him to fall asleep etc. We use Huckleberry to track his sleep and for the sweet spot predictions.

My question is if we should think about transitioning to a 2 nap day, and if so what the WWs should be 3/3.5/3.5?) I know he’s a little young for 2 naps, so I was hoping to hear other’s experiences and advice.

My reasons for wondering are:
3rd nap is a battle
1st nap is only decent one
Multiple night wakings

More details below:

For the first 2 naps, I lay him down in his crib, put his sleep sack on, turn on his lullaby and he will fall asleep by himself. For his first nap he will sleep for an hour to 90 mins, and second nap tends to be 45 minutes. The third nap is a battle, and I normally have to feed him to sleep, he wakes up screaming 15-20 mins later and then contact naps for another 20 mins or so.

(This nap situation is a massive improvement to when he was smaller though, every nap used to have to be a pram nap).

Nights aren’t great though - I can’t remember the last time he did a 4 hour stretch. So on a good night we have 2-3 wakes, and on a bad night it’s 6-7.

Before the 4 month regression, he would fall asleep at night independently. Then he needed to be fed to sleep. Recently my husband has taken over bedtime - first night was a bit rough (20 mins screaming) but after that they’ve just needed to have some quiet time - looking at night light, singing to him etc and then he will fall asleep. Since my husband took over nights, we’ve had more 2-3 wake nights.

He’s not small for his age or anything (85th percentile - last weigh in 2 weeks ago 8.4kg/18lb 8oz). So theoretically he shouldn’t need to feed overnight (at least not multiple times) but that’s what’s happening currently.

Thank you!

Hoping for some advice about eye cream for dark circles. I’m 35, have a 5 month old baby who sleeps terribly and I look tiiiired. Could anyone recommend eye cream that actually works? I’m in the UK if that’s relevant to product availability. Thank you!!
