Can somebody tell me how to get rid of the 'activator pop up'

I want a more immersive experience and I'm tired of stuff pop up when I approach something 'Open door' 'harvest lavender' 'open chest'. Ive tried several mods but they dont do anything in VR

I tried this in the config.ini :

[VR]

fActivateRolloverHMDScale=0.0000

fActivateRolloverWandScale=0.0000

fActivateRolloverSecondaryScale=0.0000

[VRUI]

fActivateQueueX=9999.0000

fActivateQueueY=9999.0000

fActivateQueueZ=9999.0000

but that doesnt do anything (AI suggestion) , can somebody help me out? Thanks

which kind of playthrough are you guys currently enjoying?

Man, I love his game sometimes. Just with some small tweaks/ mods this game can still be experienced in such a different way. Here are some changes I made that make this playthrough a bit different

- I always loved darkness in my nights and dungeons and always modded it so but this time i just simply put the brightness down in game and then put a mod for the existing light sources and so to emit more light, so torches are brighter.

- this is so fun and makes dungeons and nights scarier. I went out at midnight and to my surprise it was clouded so it was nearly pitch black, untill I carried my torch. never had this experience in the game before, i was desperately making my way to the nearest village

- hell yeah im doing stealth stuff with this way of playing: I'm crawling through the darkness (irl, I have Vrocker) and I nerfed my own arrow damage (simply Balanced mod) so I cant be a OP stealth archer, but even so, crosshair disabled and trying to line up a shot in that darkness is a skill. Now it make a lot more sense that enemies cant see you when you're so close . Dagger is not nerfed so have to kill up close and personal lol.

- Health bars are disabled because i want to fight the person, not the health bar. Would be great if i could find a good mod that shows injuries if enemies are hurt?

- finally combat is more fun. I have pseudo parry VR mod (configured to make it more difficult to parry) and physical dodge, with a 1 second slow time set, which makes my double sword wielding one on one combat more intense, I also play on master and have mods going that make enemies smarter. If i dont dodge or pary, it's going to hurt.

- to my surprise that low brightness does not break the day brightness, everything looks very clean and good and shadows are truely dark.

- I love that while in flatscreen we just hold W to rush to get through quests, and here I'm actually strolling next to the river, admiring the sights, lining up a shot to kill a wolf, then just sit next to the running water and have a water IRL.

Ok, well, just wanted to share with this community .

What about you guys? Did you guys find a new mod or playstyle that you love? WHat are you currently doing in SKyrim?

How is your current playthrough going?

Did you find a new build? Did you find new mods that refreshen the game? Are you doing something completely different this time?

I know with skyrim and mods we are prone to restartitis and sometimes dont commit untill things feels right so Im curious how everybody's current game is going ?

I will go first:

- got the survival stuff, campfire, hunterborn, 3 combat mods and increased spawn mods

Which mod make it different for me this time?

- no pauses mod. You cant just freeze mid combat and eat 50 cheese wheels. You have to hotkey it and prepare. Love it

- shadow of skyrim: nemesis mod. Upon defeat you enter bleedout and might be revived by a follower if they survive or you are fully defeated and have a chanche to lose 20% -100% of your gear and money(configurable) + you respwan in a distant place. + the enemy that killed you is now buffed and is your nemesis and you have to get revenge to get your stuff back.

This is so awesome for me. No more savescumming + you can relive the zero to hero aspect again even in later levels.

So im right now traveling with uthgerd. But some bandit camps are packed so i might need one more follower.

Oh yeah and true hud, giving a light lock on system and cleaner hud.

Love these mods.

So what are you guys doing right now?

please help me find a difficult but rewarding combat mod (SE)

I want enemies to be better, they are so bad , no matter what mod or mod combat i install.

Bows, not even stealth, are constantly op, its not fun.

I went into embershard mine with increased spawns and was just light armor 2 handed wailing and mowing them all down like a scythe cutting grass. It sucks.

right now i have :

- combat mods :

-> Ultimate combat / revenge of the enemies (disabled for now (does nothing)) + Enemy revolution of skyrim +smart NPC potion +know your enemies

+ slower bows because the bows are too OP
+ skyrim souls, no pausing menus

+party of four - harder bosses

- spawn mods :

--> OBIS +savage skyrim +extended encounters + genesis unleashed

the UC mod does sometimes have some fun 1 to 1 combat when they have a shield as they block better but thats it.

I dont want to be OP at level 1 , I want hard + epic + rewarding fights . I want to come back with a party if it's too hard. I aim this playthorugh to be at least with 2 -3 followers.

Please give me some tips that isnt just damage sponges. Or is that the only answer here?

Thanks a lot

Do you guys also play like this?

Skyrim is my most played game. I have multiple editions on pc also on xbox and also the vr edition.

Yet i can put in 100 mods or even go vanilla but this must be the most played line ive ever played in any game.

I always do helgen --> three bandits --> standing stones --> embershard mine --> riverwood --> bleak falls barrows --> riverwood --> make sure i touch the giant so aella doesnt disapprove lol --> get into whiterun and then gathering the quests there nd the dialogue I have done so many times and just basically halts the game in its track, lose motivation or start to nitpick about possible other playstyles and restart or quit.

I just cant bear that same whiterun scene anymore. Too much lol, at least the beginning is action packed.

Its funny because in my mind skyrim is this massive endless epic game open world and it kinda is but i just railroad it and then get bored when i get to the 'open part'. I thibk i would like it more if it sjust nonstop dungeons. No more long empty travels and repetitve dialogue.
