Slowing it down: Morrigan and Hephaestus

I realised that the biggest challenge of this game is me always rushing about and doing things like walking into arrows and whatnot. I decided to try something that needs more deliberate gameplay. I did a run with Morrigan and ended up with Hephaestus on attack and special. Omega to get to target, then back to back Heff before the Blood Triad is just outrageous

Desktop Media Client mouse pointer misalignment

I just installed the desktop media client as it plays movies at a much higher quality than via browser. Under my main screen I have a small secondary touch screen where I usually have media controls for music and whatnot. When I move the Jellyfin Media client to this window, where the mouse pointer is location does not correlate to what is it interacting with. You can see in the screenshot that the pointer is over the album to the left of what is being highlighted

Inevitable Ruin: Bomo (SPOILERS)

I saw someone describe DCC as a tragedy wrapped in a dick joke. Matt has this unbelievable way of getting a genuine belly laugh out of me while breaking my heart with 7 words. Having Feraz fall was a heart break. Li Jun was worse. The one that really got me?

Bomo.

Bomo and Sledge are the ultimate ride or die homies. Bomo had no know that he had zero chance against Lucia, but Donut was in danger, and that's all that mattered, so he engaged.

Bomo: Moving to stop her **THIS MESSAGE IS FROM A DECEASED BODYGUARD

I actually felt that tear feeling in the back of my throat.

That and when Party Planner went down. It brought Louis so much joy, and it was taken.

What a series.

Trying to balance my water flow

Fairly new to the game. I've got fill valves at the bottom set to 0. Flood gates at the top set to 0.90 and a massive dam behind. Flood gates at the other end of the river set to 0.90.

If I have the fill value open at all then I get regular flooding. I can't seem to figure out how to balance it all so that I dont need to manually open the fill valves when the drought comes

What am I missing..?

Just got in to the game, and loving it. It's a good challenge, but I feel that I must be missing something. I've just defeated the stag boss and I'm trying to get bronze up and running. For that, I need copper and tin. The second I step foot in the black forest and go anywhere near a copper vein, I'm swarmed by Brutes, Trolls or Shamans. To the point it's impossible to win the fight (Stagbreaker and troll armor), meaning I can't get the metals to make better weapons. Is there some way to stop or slow the attacks? I might have missed something the crow said.

EDIT: ooly dooly, you guys are great EDIT2: Hot tip on the axe. Turns greylings into salami

Denon Perl Pro tuning

I migrated from Buds 3 Pro to the Denon Perls. Once tuned, the Denons blow any other headphone/bud I've ever had out of the water.

Therein lies my query: I hate that the Denon app is needed to do the tuning and hate that both buds needs to be in to use the app. Is there any way around this? EQ software or something?

Shades Of Blue from Madlib. Blue Note Records, founded in 1939 known for their prolific roster of talented Jazz musicians, invited hip hop producer Madlib into their archives to do some remixing. A departure from his usual stuff, but he made something special.

Brothers Doobie from Funkdoobiest. Members of the Soul Assassin Collective and criminally forgotten about 90s hip hop group. This album is stirling from intro to outro. They, like a lot of people at the time, got lost in the shadow of Cypress Hill even though they had the same producer (DJ Muggs). They have lyrical content distinct from the usual 90s hip hop themes and are well worth checking out for the Muggs beats.

Anyway, support your local vinyl shop.

Never read the comics, loved the Del Toro films. Crooked Man is NOT the Del Toro style. It's significantly slower and much, MUCH darker. Cards out I'm an absolute sucker for folk horror, and this scratched that itch quite well. Witches, demons, Appalachia, old magic, old religion. Here for it all.

I will admit that there is a lot going on and it could most definitely have been streamlined and made tighter, but the setting and camera work were fabulous at building the mood. I immediately wrote it off due to everything I'd seen around the internet and regret having done so. A reminder as to why no one should listen to reviews as the reviewer is not you.
