I’ve heard the argument that if they made the movie game-accurate it would be boring, but I’m not saying to make it game-accurate. The movie already took so many creative liberties with the way the game works that it could still use the ender dragon, but just exaggerate its powers and intelligence for the sake of an interesting plot. Like they could’ve even kept Malgosha as the main villainess at first but then revealed that she was at the mercy of the ender dragon the whole time. Malgosha’s “death” in the movie was weak anyway and the way the ender dragon dies in the game is much more interesting visually and could’ve been incorporated into the plot somehow and with all that cgi money they had I would’ve loved to see how they render it. That said I am new to this sub, so this question may have been discussed thousands of times already. I give the movie a 6/10 overall. Chicken Jockey out.
