Edit : I will be stationed at Ramstein Air Base
I will be planning a nearly 2 week long trip with my spouse. We will be starting in Ramstein (that’s where I’ll be stationed in for the military). She will be coming here during Christmas break. ( December 23rd - January 1st) What are some good spots to visit during this time? Hotels/lodging, foods restaurants/coffee shops, must see tourist attractions, etc. I want it all. We also plan to visit Switzerland and Paris for 1 or 2 days within our trip too. Should we drive or take the train? Also do you have any recommendations for those two country’s as well? We don’t have a budget so please feel free so list anything.

Soon to be married and me and my fiancé aren’t in the same state, what paperwork do I need to officially upload her in DEERS? Do they need a physical copy of both her birth certificate and S.S card? If so, what if we’re unable to obtain the S.S card but we know the number?
I want to get tested for gluten and lactose intolerance, currently deployed and obviously that’s not an option here. Do home station on base medical do these types of things or will they give me a referral for somewhere off base?

What proper documentation is needed to get married overseas in Germany while active duty military to a U.S civilian. Does she need to bring her full original copy birth certificate, and SS card or will her ID/passport work? Also can we use the German marriage courts?
