I’ve heard that Dreamworks split season three in half to get more seasons, I don’t know if this is true but if it is I can see that. Before we start, it must be made clear that Pidge is my favorite character. THEY DIDNT FORGET ABOUT PIDGES FAMILY. Honestly I did kinda half expect the dad to show up since he also went missing on that mission. I want to throw hands with Pidge’s bullies, there are many things I would like to say about them but Reddit may have this taken down if I did. She’s a nerd that’s her thing (which is why she’s my favorite) and the look in her brother’s eyes when she said she wanted to go to space really got me. The whole codes thing was cool. When Pidge is brought to the graveyard, I had a feeling Mat was still alive, they wouldn’t do that to us, would they? And their reunion was really beautiful. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

I have mixed feelings about this episode. Not about the writing, but about the choices of the characters, which is a good thing on the writing end. Since Keith is the loose cannon of the series, I can understand why he’d go run off with the blade. He was facing imposter syndrome and thought Shiro was the better leader, in some cases he is right, but I feel like Volton was better when Keith was leader. However Shiro did ultimately make the right decision, even if Keith’s wasn’t. And when they left so much crying happened , Pidge cried like a girl, oh wait. So yeah, here’s my mini rant

While Jim was a great troll hunter and was the reason the gum gums failed (particularly since he was human and his style was way different than the trolls). They needed him, if he wasn’t chosen, the changlings would not have been outed, and he would become Jim the Bular slayer, they did make the correct choice. But the decision is made by the souls of the dead hunters, they can’t predict the future. They hadn’t even head the chance to meet him beforehand so they took a huge gamble on him. Remember, he’s the first human to enter troll market. He is the first human to make contact in centuries. The previous hunter died at around 5am(based on the radio broadcast) and Jim and Toby showed up at 8am(based of the trailer saying what time it was) that’s only 3 hours, that’s really not a lot of time to make a decision on the next troll hunter. As the sun was rising when he died, no troll was able to collect anything until that night, after Jim bonded. So my theory is they picked Jim because was the only was the prevent Bular from getting the amulet.

Not a particularly favorable episode, it feels like I’m being talked down to, but other than that I liked this episode, but it’s definitely the weakest of the season finales. Since the beginning I’ve always wonders how Zarcon lived for 10,000 years and my question was answered but this does feel like it was retroactively made. So this season over all pretty good for being so short. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

Honestly I didn’t how how I’d feel about this episode since the last one was my favorite episode so far but they really did this one justice. Honestly I really like seeing Alura in a lion and her connection scene was perfect. Unfortunately it did come at the cost of Shiro whom I really liked. But His replacement isn’t bad. I know this was short but the episode speaks for itself.So yeah here’s my mini rant.

This might be my favorite episode so far. The lions that got new paladins made so much sense for the characters that changed, that is how I would have done it. After thinking about it for a little, I worried why Shiro brought up them needing a new black paladin for a second time. The first time he was on the verge of death so I can see why he would say that but the second time something is up with that. Having Prince Lotar be this manipulative and worse than his father would be a reasonable continuation of his line. And what’s up with that witch? I can feel she’s up to something.

Starting off very strong! Although I don’t want our team to be suffering, having them not like that Shiro has gone mia was nice. And they haven’t forgotten about Pidge’s family, hopefully they are reunited. When lord Zarcon jr was bsing his whole “I’m not going to rule like my father did” speech, I could tell he was lying. The international rebellion thing honestly was a great idea, but since he is a master manipulator, we will never see that happen likely. Before I go, since when did Koran have a theme song? And also just as important, wear can I listen? So yeah here’s my mini rant.

Honestly this show is great, the animation and writing had some serious love put into it and was incredible well executed. So as I finished the final episode of season two here are some notes for that episode: it really makes up for the flaws in the last episode and this episode makes the conflict so much larger that the whole first season. Having the Galra witch be Altayen was a surprise to be sure , but a welcome one. As I expected, Alura and Koran are NOT the last two. So one last note: Technically Alura would be queen Alura, not princess, as her father died(at least to was was shown in the first two seasons) so unless they use a different way of crowning a new queen, she should be queen. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

It has come to my attention that the narrator for the 80s version of Voltron has passed so before I start let’s take a moment of silence.

Honestly why did they try to frame this episode like it’s going to be the last one? Was that the original plan and Dreamworks needed more episodes? Or maybe in the next episode they fail in stopping, very likely. If this was season 8 I would have liked this episode more that I did, but the cliffhanger was cool. Now the cool parts, having Alura apologize to Keith for being be mildly rude was really cool. When the team was on the ship they only survived because of very believable luck. Rip our Galra friend. So yeah, here’s my mini rant

So I’m relatively new to this community (as you can tell from how old this account is and I’m not even on season 3 yet) but I almost immediately thought that Lance and Keith would be cute together, how much of this community agrees?

Honestly I really like the Balmera and the inhabitants really great place in the galaxy. I was afraid that it would be destroyed by the bot. With them very soon taking on Zarkon I know it’s not quite over for them for a very long time unless they do defeat him before the end of season 8 and they do an epilogue which I shall find out when I get there. One other thing I noticed is that team Voltron was considered how mad Shiro got at the newest member of their new member, even though it’s shown how they don’t like him. I just have a feeling that being back in a Galra prison has triggered something in it. Hope Pidge gets to find her family by season 8. So yeah here’s my mini rant.

Ok it seams that the vibes of the last episode was a fluke and back to the old movement and writing from before. So review time. Because Pidge happens to be my favorite character I’ll start with her, so we finally get a little more about what’s happening with her family and that the writers haven’t forgotten about them. Having her go through the prison records to find them was really well done, I almost thought they would be forgotten about (and like in Andor) just serve as what got her into the gang in the first place. Now for Lance, he’s found his thing with sharpshooting with was really cool and him messing up with the Yeper was funny. Speaking of it, I did quickly pick of that she was only going to say “yep” after like the third of fourth time. And the actual guy they came after was so annoying. I know it is a combination of his intelligence and possibly a trama response but since we don’t know how long he’s been here, it’s hard to tell just from this episode. It also feels like in his “safety concerns “ he might have triggered some of Shiro’s old trama from being a prisoner himself, which partially explains why he was so close to losing his cool, also the dude was annoying anyways. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.

First thing is that this is a very well written episode. Second is that the vibe has changed, the jokes changed, the animation changed it just feels different than the previous season and a half. Also since they think the fight is about to be over, reasonably, the way they act like they many never see each other again, and to their credit they do think they are about to defeat Zarcon and his army in two seasons (and we do know they’re more seasons so we do know the fight isn’t over). We are all aware of Alura’s dislike of Galra to the point of practically being recast, let’s be clear Zarcon and most of his army have done some really screwed up stuff but she has a hard time trusting the ones they know are actively screwing over Zarcon. As well as when she find out that one of the paladins has Galra family (how much Galra he has is still up in the air for now so please don’t spoil that part) she instantly becomes suspicious of him for no reason other that he’s part Galra. Now joke review section: mouse kiss; it’s really funny and it’s been so obvious he liked Alura that she and the whole gang has probably picked up by now, And I could totally see hunk acting in the manner he did while asking about Keith’s Galra ancestry. So yeah, here’s my mini rant.
