3 months off bc

Before quitting bc after 9 years of being on it, I want to share my experience so here's mine for someone in the future.

Disclaimer: Not trying to push my choice on anyone. I did this for my mental and physical health. Almost all the side effects of quitting BC that I have seen were mostly negative and made me worry about quitting so this is my mostly positive experience.

I think preparing by taking all the necessary vitamins 3 months before really really helped me. Collagen, ashwaghana, Womens multivitamins, creatine and fiber.

Physically: Ive noticed some extra oily skin and my leg hair and nails are growing faster and thicker than ever. I feel stronger in the gym and I've lost 16 lbs (172-156). I just got my period and shit hurts for sure! I tolerated it way more on the pill but the cramps kicked my ass today. I'd say it went from a 0-1 to a 3 sometimes a 5 at its worst.

Mentally/emotionally: OHHHH MY GOOOODDAHHHHH my moods switch so often, I get angrier faster, my patience is still pretty high just not in the mornings. I feel *more* like myself again. More creative, more positive and open to trying new things. It's like I know how to deal with my anxiety, I am less closed off than I used to be. Im way more talkative too!

If there are any more questions feel free to ask:)

Last post on this Sub:(

its been such a good time seeing people who were in my situation at one point get to live and love their long distance relationship. But now that he has broke up with me, I cannot be here since it makes me so jealous and sad for myself. Godspeed and I miss you c.w.💜

Handmade gifts & planes

So I pride myself on getting the best gifts for the people I love and I wood burned this small wooden chest for my partner who im going to see in just under 80 days. I handmade and painted these small air dry clay versions of his cats to go in the box and im worried theyre going to break or be trashed. Does anyone know if TSA is going to throw them away? Also any ideas on how to securely package them? Im a bit paranoid that they wont be able to get through. Thanks in advance!

Finally quitting birth control

When i was 16, im 25 now, I got the implant and gained 60 lbs in 3 months going from about 120-130 lbs to 180 almost 190 lbs. When it expired I had it in my arm for about 4 to 6 more months before taking it out and when I did and immediately got on the hormonal pill, the weight dropped what felt like immediately down to 145 in a couple months. But over the years it has leveled out to around 160 -170 especially since i workout and have quite alot of muscle now. Horrible for my body I know. yikes

So my question is, since im quitting birth control in about a week, will it make me gain or lose weight? I saw that the pill has more hormones in it than the stick but compared to what I have experienced, it doesnt seem like thats the case. I've read articles and watched videos about how your acne, moods and body will go back to whenever you first started taking birth control. I just wanted to know if anyone has had that same experience and that im not alone in this?

Spent the weekend in the sun and my face now has red blotches

Like the title says, I spent this memorial weekend in the sun and used a couple different sunscreens on my face every time we went out. Tanning lotion the first day and normal spray sunscreen or lotion the following days. I now have these red patches on my face that feel dry and have small bumps on them. It's only itchy on my jawline, but on my face they're painful to the touch and I'm not sure what to do besides keeping them hydrated with aquaphor. I dont want them to scar. Any help is appreciated thank you

Savannah Ridge Apartments

Hi I'm weighing out my options. If anyone has anything to say about the savannah ridge apartments, good or bad, I'd love to hear about it. I have a tour for an apartment tomorrow. Thanks!

Looking for some advice as a beginner!

I'm thinking about being a shopper part time, but I'm unsure if the area i live in will be all that successful living here in the Metro of Oklahoma. Are there any shoppers in the southern states? And if so, what can you tell me about your experience?

Does the app show you how far away the store is from you and the drop off location or do you have to accept it first to see?

I also am wanting to know how you do taxes. I heard that you have to make over a certain amount that makes it mandatory to file your w2 if they give you one.
