Why do men behave like this?

No i genuinely want to know. Whenever I try to be vulnerable on my own social media account, the most amount of gaslighting i receive is from men. I recently posted something about facing emotional abuse at work. One guu commented saying "Maybe your manager is right". Like why do they have to be like this? It makes me want to steer clear of men altogether. Why do some men behave like this?

The lawlessness amazes me

An update: The accused was bailed out today. CNN News confirmed it 5 hours ago. This just breaks my heart especially after how Sarthak's parents broke down appealing for justice.

Zodiac Signs as Indian Sweets Part - 2

From left to right

Aries - Tilor Laru - A sweet which is mostly served during Winter Harvest. But it really kickstarts the season through its dynamic, energetic boost of flavours. Made from sesame seeds, its often paired with the main course.

Taurus - Roshogola - Decadent, juicy, syrupy and oh so good. This is that one homely dessert you'd absolutely love. People call it rasgulla when its actual pronunciation is roshogola. Translates to sugary syrupy dough balls.

Gemini - Jalebi - If you're a fan of quirky and spiral croissants, you'd love this more than the actual thing. No seriously. Its got crunch, its got sweet. Its a childhood sweet, often paired with hot milk in Winters.

Cancer - Chak Hao Kheer - Black rice pudding. Another homely dessert that not many know of. In northeast india, especially Manipur, black rice is often used for rice beer and wine. Mostly, the dishes use seasonal vegetables and ingredients. But this Kheer is a non-negotiable. A must try!

Leo - Kaju Katli - Its not an Indian sweets post if you take Kaju Katli out of the situation. Its something you would expect at a fancy tea party. But no. This is a showstopper for most Indian sweets and is mostly served during Diwali. If you get a box of Kaju Katli during Diwali, consider yourself lucky.

Virgo - Lapsi - Its nutrient rich and dense dessert. I had this dessert for the first time in Rajasthan. They served it to me after a piping hot spicy meal. Its meticulous and quite apt in terms of its flavour. Nothing fancy. Just broken wheat cooked in milk and jaggery. A humble yet underrated sweet dish i would say.

Libra - Sel Roti - Its got crunch. Its got sweetness. Its got balanced flavour profile. Sel Roti is a staple in Sikkim and Nepal. You can have it as is or with chai. Its bready and sugary, but not something that would cloy your mouth. Its balanced, so to speak.

Scorpio - Awan Bangwi - This has to be the wallflower of Indian sweet dishes. Awan Bangwi is from the humble and hearty state of Tripura. Its carefully packed and steamed. Made of sticky rice, this dish requires little to no oil. This seems like an enigma to me in terms of its fragrance and flavour. Interestingly, there's both savoury and sweet versions of this dish as far as I know. (I could be wrong too you know)

Sagittarius - Khorak - Quite an unconventional sweet that not many know of. Khorak is made of dry fruits, seeds and wheat flour. The perfect immunity booster. Usually with wheat sweet dishes, one would expect pudding or dough breads. This is one of a kind fudge that experiments with ingredients like poppy seeds, edible gum, dry fruits and ghee.

Capricorn - Motichoor Laddu - A classic Laddu you absolutely cannot sleep on. You'd mostly see Laddus being offered as temple prasad (offering). However, laddus, time and time again, have made their way into several ocassions. Be it weddings or other celebrations, Laddu is something you can easily spot in an Indian sweet shop.

Aquarius - Gujiya - A dumpling thats fried and sweet? Count me in. This one's got dry fruits, crumbled mawa, sugar. Perfect blend of nuttiness and sweetness. Its your no bs take on Indian sweets. We usually have it during Holi and its a no brainer, that one has to pair it with thandai. Perfect way to welcome the spring season afterall.

Pisces - Malpua - Malpua isn't your usual fried sweet bread. Its got ghee, sugar and is paired with milk. Perfect as it is or best served with tea. If you're not too fond of milky desserts, you can have it as is. Quite easy to make too. Its got that complexity and richness in flavour, fragrance and taste which makes it all the more unique.

So last time I left out many sweet dishes from North East India. I hope you folks get to try these someday! I'll make part - 3 as well because Indian cuisine is HUGE and it goes for sweets as well! ❤️

Regarding the Ketan Aggarwal case

You know I'm seriously tired of people milking memes out of a murder. A family lost their only son to someone's deranged behaviour. We live in a crippled society. Each day I'm coming across deaths in India. Students unaliving themselves, women being k1lled because of dowry, the recent 370 biryani case and now Ketan Aggarwal's murder case.

Have we learned NOTHING? Why do we feel the need to make humour out of horrendous crime? What has happened to our society! Seriously. Will we ever draw a line. People were quick to outrage on the 370 rs biryani case. What now? Is everyone's sensibility gone down the drain? Do these folks operating meme pages ever think what Ketan's family might be going through? They lost their only son. Here people are reducing things to humor. Absolute and utter shamelessness prevails in our society. I'm really ashamed and disappointed as a citizen of this country.

If it was a joke, i would laugh. But there's nothing funny about the whole Ketan Aggarwal's murder case. This is the thought I want to leave you all with. I hope sense prevails, if it even exists at all.

Zodiac signs as Indian Sweets ✨️

From left to right

Aries - Gulab Jamun - dynamic and somehow always wins the race

Taurus - Ras Malai - No bs, homely, sweet with earthy flavours

Gemini - Milk Cake - perfectly represents the duality with its caramel side and the creamier side. Perfect symphony I would say.

Cancer - Gajar ka Halwa - A comfort classic. It hits home and its like a warm hug wrapped in a bowl. A warm hug on a winter's day.

Leo - Ghevar - A royal gem. This was served in Royal courts of Rajasthan. Its got nuts, edible silver and that pizzazz appearance. Perfect for us Leos.

Virgo - Son Papdi - This one's an underdog. Its mostly become a meme but no one appreciates this sweet enough. Its got layers and hours of meticulous efforts that goes into making this dish. The hardworking and immaculate nature of Virgo can be best reflected through this one.

Libra - Payasum - All about the balanced flavours. Payasum is a classic sweet often served during Onam. For Libras I felt this is really apt. They're extra only when need be.

Scorpio - Parwal Mithai - This one's made out of a gourd. Yeah pretty much. Its an enigma how they made a gourd into an immaculate sweet. A mystery but also quite complex when it comes to flavour. Yet another underrated sweet which is a must try.

Sagittarius- Shahi Tukda - Quite an adventurous and experimental recipe. I believe this best fits for Sagittarius. Its got bread, cream, dry fruits and everything unconventional you'd imagine in a dessert.

Capricorn - Cham Cham - This one's got spunk but its a classic mithai (sweet) not everyone is fond of. Its an acquired taste and that's quite relevant with Caps. Its got class, elegance and a quiet luxury when it comes to sweets.

Aquarius - Mysore Pak - This sweet is a task. A melt in the mouth masterpiece. If you ever visit India, do not skip this one. Its a one of a kind rarity, just like Aquarius. Takes hours to make but never fails to impress.

Pisces - Kulfi - Making Kulfi is an art in itself. In India, there are different varieties and styles to make this one. I chose Kulfi to pay ode to the artistic and expressive selves of Pisces. They're often portrayed as dreamy, yes. But Pisces bring in different styles and approaches to the table.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Do let me know if you'd like a part- 2.

Mars in Cancer. Am I cooked?

I read that this placement is often considered toxic. Now I dont know about toxic but when I read lack of drive I couldn't help but wonder. How does one find the zeal and spark after a burnout? I experience burnout more often than not. It just kills my joy and idk. With Gemini placements, i have bunch of hobbies as well.

Pottery, DIY crafts and whatnot. I love perfumes and even make homemade goods. But again, I find it difficult especially when I'm called useless and lazy. How did you come to terms with your placement? How does one "get over" the laziness as people call it?
