Changing hair/ink colors in SP?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I haven't played this game in ages. I really don't like the color yellow and I want something else. Google says it's based on your last multiplayer match, but I have no interest in doing the MP stuff at this time, I'm strictly sticking to the SP campaign. Is there a way to change the color in SP manually or will it change on it's own after I make some progress (I literally just started the campaign.) Thanks in advance!

How do I get texture packs to work in SM64coopdx?

I just can't seem to get any of the ones I've tried to work, they don't even show up in the mod list in game. All I want is an HD texture pack that's faithful to the original textures. Other mods I've tried do work, but texture packs don't seem to.

What does this icon mean?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I haven't seen this icon on any previous runs. What does it mean?

This is the most confusing yet easiest game to understand.

I tend to avoid these types of strategy games that require tons of micro management and have an insane amount of mechanics because my brain just can't keep up with it. Against the Storm is some kind of magical outlier.

AtS does such a phenomenal job at easing you into the mechanics via meta progression and the UI is like a work of art in and of itself. I have never appreciated a UI so much in my life. I always know what's happening and what I can produce and where ingredients are being used. The game manages to somehow be overwhelming and manageable at the same time.

I just need to applaud the developers for crafting something this unique and surprisingly playable for people like me who struggle with this genre. Also, please send help, I've been playing this every day for a week during any free time I have and I can't stop.

PinballFXVR - my tables are melded together.

So after installing the new update, all my Williams tables are... uh... overlapping. I tried to reposition them to other spots and it only made things worse. Some tables even have the wrong back glass. Super weird bug lol. Seems to work fine if I set the one I want to play as my favorite table, so I can do that until this is sorted out.

Doom 3 Quest audio issue?

I actually can't tell if this is a bug, a setting, or normal, but the audio is very... echo-y.

I suppose it makes sense giving the setting of the gane, but it feels too intense, like I'm standing in a big empty space. Is there any way to fix this or tone it down a bit?

Pinball FX VR - Is there no way to turn off hands/arms?

The arm rest on the chair I use for VR doesn't allow my arms to be in the proper position for pinball and I'd like them to just be invisible in game. I saw a setting in the options to disable virtual hands, but this option doesn't seem to actually do anything. Is there anything else I can do?

Perfect Dark VR just got released and Vinny would love it.

I sent an email about this a while back when it was still in development, but I figured I'd post about it here now that it's out and I know many a Vinesauce viewer would also be interested.

There is a beta out now for Perfect Dark in VR. It's got a PCVR version and a standalone Quest version.

https://github.com/Alex-LeTux/perfect\_dark\_VR/releases/tag/v1.1-beta

The entire game is playable, although there is some minor jank here and there. If you're on a Quest, you may need to adjust the FOV in game to 100 to make it work properly.

I feel like this is a perfect game for a Vinny stream!

I regret using modifiers

I realized about 2 hours into my playthrough that I suck at this game, so I enabled 2 modifiers. I'm using the one that slightly reduces damage taken, and the one that adds underlabs before bosses.

After about 8 hours of play time I realized that I actually don't suck at this game and I've found so many upgrades that I feel unstoppable. I most definitely could have handled this on default difficulty if I'd given myself more time to learn and find upgrades.

Anyone else having similar regrets? 😬

I mean, it's fine. This just gives me an excuse to play it again sometime to get the feats, maybe a year or so after I finish it. I don't often replay games I've finished, but I like this one a lot.

Just let this serve as a warning for anyone who is on the fence about enabling a modifier. Give it a bit more time, you can find some stupidly powerful trinkets and upgrades that will make the game easier. Just be very thorough with your exploration and secret hunting.

What's with all this smoke?

90 mins ago when I was last outside everything was clear but when I left for work a min ago (2:30 pm) the whole town is in a fairly thick cloud of smoke. Is there a nearby wildfire?

Are there mods to change the GUI?

So I just started playing this and the artstyle is absolutely amazing, but the one issue I have is that the GUI is kinda frustrating to me. I just finished a week-long SimCity 2000 binge and I was hoping there was a way to make the GUI function similarly to that. I dont love having to confirm every road placement and such and the build menu is sort of awkward. Is there any way to change this stuff?

It's not really a deal breaker, and I could adapt to this over time, but as a long time SimCity fan, it would be super nice to have more GUI options to make it less cumbersome.

I finally suceeded at SC2K

I first got SC2K in 1995, it was my first ever PC game. I begged my parents to get me a PC just so I could play this game. Unfortunately, I was 7 years old and could not figure out how to play it properly. I would just use cheats and mess around.

After 30 years of not understanding how to play the game properly, I finally sat down yesterday and figured it out.

My city has no planning, I was just figuring it out on the fly, so it's sort of chaotic. I somehow managed to keep mostly everyone happy, though. The only real zoning plan I stuck to was keeping all my industrial around the perimeter and keeping pollution as low as possible.

I tried to avoid doing terraforming and just decided to work with the map I was given. It might not look very pretty, but it's functional and profitable.

It felt real good plopping down those arcologies without using cheats. I am not really sure how to improve this map and building every arco felt like enough of a "win" condition for me to be satisfied. Even at 1% tax rates, the city is still making profit.

It's like a big gamer weight has finally been lifted off my shoulders after 30 years.
