Wanted to share my mid-range companion with modded keycaps.

Also going to swap switches with Gateron Pro 2.0 Milky Blacks down the line.

For now how is it looking?!

I got the green gradient cherry profile keycaps from the meckeys website and finally made the keeb nighttime compatible.

It definitely came out the way I wanted and the keys sound pretty much the same as the stock ones, just very slightly lighter.

This one is a replacement unit I got from the URX team for the spacebar rattle issue. I did tell them that it's only the keybar which is a bother but they were admant that I ship the keyboard to them. I availed the self pickup service for which they paid and once the unit reached them they decided to replace the whole keeb since they didn't have any spare spacbars till then.

Fast forward to now I received my package and the outer covering seemed fine but as soon as I got inside the whole box was crumpled and my heart sank into the ocean. I took put the unit and it seems to work fine except that it was again wobbling which I fixed by slight adjustments but now I am not sure what to expect. Their sweet gesture was ruined the moment they decided to rely on a local courier(Tirupati Courier). Also I think that their packaging is not enough to keep the keeb safe during transit in general. The bubble wrap can only do so much.

This time I don't even know what to say. I have informed them but my expectations are low this time around since they indeed helped me from their end but packaging and reliance on a local Courier for shipping made it worse.

I am also planning on selling the stock keycaps set and I will be making a listing. Anyone who is interested in the meanwhile can reach-out to me.

Hello there I have been using these Realme buds for quite while and finally decided to drop my own experience to know what the community thinks about it exactly.

First discussing the comfort level I had say that they are not exactly the most comfortable at the start but they grow in on you and I was able to get used to their awkward shape slowly but surely. They are definitely not meant for usage while sleeping but I kind of manage sometimes.

Moving onto more pressing matters. The sound quality at a glance feels pretty good and balanced. Fiddling with the eq settings and dynamic audio greatly improves the experience over stock sound.

I have used T310 also and compared to that the sound feels more crisp and cleaner but it does get quite harsh over 50% volume for my use case. The sound doesn't get muddy but the sharpness hurts the ears. It's already plenty loud at 40% for me honestly and beats are clear and well balanced. 30-40% feels like a sweet spot as lower volume muffles the instruments and higher volume is unpleasing to listen at.

Coming onto the ANC side I had say it's very solid and works almost too well. At max settings it is able to supress around 90% of the noise even inside a train. Sadly human voices do get muffled but they are still slightly audible when nothing is playing but they get easily drained out by any media.

I have tried out their LHDC codec and the difference isn't quite felt while listening to MP3 formats but its very apparent with lossless formats.

I personally listen to FLAC files which I download beforehand and make into a playlist. Then I use the music player app with a custom eq setting enabled within the app for a proper experience.

These are the settings which use to get a balanced sound signature. I would also like to know what setting do other users have and I would love to experiment with their settings.

My use case hovers between normal surfing and casual gaming. I mostly play story titles and also some FPS but not a hardcore gamer. I am actually leaning towards the UNCTRL rage mouse but reliability and service matter more to me than raw performance.

Considering the Karnage mouse due to 2 years warranty but completely in the dark about its after sales service.

Only found the URX CORE M1 most transparent about their details and specs of scroll wheel encoder and MCU chip is also known through some research on Xinmeng Zero 3. I have heard reliability issues with Zero 1 series so is this one a hit or a miss in that regard? Actually find the carrying case very appeasing but I shouldn't be cherry picking up faves. I am a responsible consumer.

My sister visited me on a vacation(random visit after some work meeting nearby) and she found my stash of Milky Black Switches. For a quick summary of her nature she strips me of my valuables which she deems to be irrelavant for my studies. I know I can argue with her but that is my last resolve and I want to solve it peacefully. For now I have just said that it is for my project but she wants explanations! I gave been able go avoid conforntation by feigning ignornace.

If she finds about the keeb then its hers before long. Wose yet she is a coder so she will not even think of returning it this time.

In the past few instances she has failed misearably:- I got a new 5G phone but it got replaced with 4G to stop unlimited data usage. I had a laptop and wifi lol.

I bought a pair of earbuds which she didn't want me to have do she made me gift them to my father on fathers day. I got a new model after a few months.

She got hold of my novels and sealed them up. I started reading online lol.

Only instance where I truly felt defeated was when I was handed a 512GB SSD inplace of my 1TB stick since I don't have any use of the extra storage but I have adapted to make do with it.

Anyways I seriously need help. I can't let her figure out about my keyboard or she will raid my place and wose yet she will confisticate other stuff too. Faaaaahhhhhhhh. Tell me some great genuine lies I can throw at her face with a stern expression

As the title states I saw these two mice equally priced and I was left to wonder which is one is better value?

I know the communoty loves VXE but the other has some very solid specs across the board and I was wondering if I should opt for it. Battery life is another huge plus I saw along with 8000Hz polling rate.

Still I am not sure what to go with and is it important to pre-order the stuff? Like does stuff go out of stock even in pre-order stage?

I have also never shopped on loadout website so I am not sure about customer service for any 1st time discounts. If you have experienced their service then do share your thoughts about them.

My main question still holds and I am trying to figure out a good but for myself. Unfortunately I did want the black colored one which is seemingly a rarity for some mid-range mice. Still its not a deal breaker and I am not someone to sweat over such details.

Across the whole country one thing is constant. People having no civic sense. They have completely disturbed the peace of the whole place and this joint family is distrupting all the other passengers but no one would like to confront them as they being so fckin religious in a fckin train. They have forecefully occupied my lower seat and acting like they own the place. The claps are so triggering and so annoying its umbearable. How hard is it to respect other travellers aswell. They wasted my morning and now they have started again in the evening aswell.

There are better places to display the religious sentiments. I have been heading headaches quite regularly due to their careless behaviour. I am fed up man.

Upgrading on from using this lenovo keyboard from the 2015s has made a very big difference , not necause the polling rate went up four times at once but mostly in terms of form,layout and mkst importantly the typing feel.

Now been trained in this keyboard and enforced by using laptop keyboards I am facing problems adjusting to the soft key presses which I don't even realise until I hear the click. Omen 16 generally have hard keys coupled with tactile feedback and I've gotten used to them

I am facing problems on my new keyboard with soft switches. It is mainly related to accidental presses which have become more common for me now. Thus I have decided to replace the keys which are moat prone to accidental presses with sole gateron pro milky blacks.

I just wanted to know which keys are most susceptible to this behaviour for you as I am not a full fledged typist and my go to method of typing is still hunting and pressing but with this keyboard I have got the inventive to learn it the intended way.

Well hello once again and I'm sorry if it feels repetitive but I wanted to post an update regarding the rattling issue on the spacebar. Earlier I had stated that the spacebar was completely straight but that was an overshoot and I completely missed the mark. Checking upon the granite flooring I quickly found it that it was infact slightly curved.

Using the hot water bath I was able to bend it back to shape and it really removed most of the unpleasant noise. Now I can finally use it in peace. Anyone suffering from the same issue should check on their end as well.

I apologise for the video and sound quality in advance. I've tried to keep background noise to a minimum and I am sharing my own personal experience with the very first mechanical keyboard.

The sound test doesn't do justice to this keyboard but I am sharing it to highlight the contrast between the spacebar and any other key in comparsion.

First of all the keyboard comes in a very good package and it was properly sealed into a bubble wrap. The contents were all packages well and the overall unboxing experience feels premium to say the least.

It comes with 1 x Keyboard Unit, 2 x Spare switches, 1 x heavy quality cable, 1 x switch/key puller, 1 x plastic cover. I Also got the extra keychain and very sophisticated keycap and shaft puller outside of the main package.

Now First impression were very solid. The build quality was robust and keyboard were weighty and dense and the keycaps look proper with clean legends.

RGBs are bright but the back body and dark switch do an extremely good job of diffusing the light and giving a more refined glow instead of a sharp lighting.

Switches are on the lighter side and they are extremely easy to press, they are soft the claim of being pre-lubed stands to be true. How do I know? Well I removed one of the switches and it was greasy. The typing experience is honestly very satisfying except the spacebar which is the not so fun-part. I removed it to check for any signs of deforming but it was completely straight. Plugging it back in harder seems to have helped but it still didn't make a good difference and this test was performed after attaching it properly. Well as for the other keys they are very creamy and don't pose any issues.

The rotary knob is fully metallic and I wanted to mention this since some other users have claimed it to be plastic but it is not. One thing I found to weird and impractical is how the knob only activates every two clicks. For eg:- rotating the knob gives you a very sharp clicky yet inaudible feedback. Furthermore the volume changes only every two clicks instead of every click even thought the knob is stiff and there shouldn't be any cases of misturns.

Another Unfortunate surprise is that my unit has fault rubber feets so my keyboard wobbles even on a smooth surface. I did think that my table might have been uneven but then I tried on multiple other surfaces but it wobbles everywhere. Coupled with a rattling spacebar my 1st experience has been far from ideal.

EDIT: I was able to correct both issues and we are back in bussiness.

I am considering to buy it since the next biggest contender for me personally Mchose G75 V2 Ice blue switches and its in the 6k range which is about 1.5k difference between the two.

The QMK factor is very appealing honestly and the FR4 plate doesn't seems to be a hoax although color doesn't match the standard color of FR4 but it could have been painted. I could only count 4 dmapeming layers and they missed out on the 5th PET film layers in the pictures but I expect it to be present as per the claims.

Only thing I am skeptical about are some underlying PCB issues which haven't been discovered and only surface with more intensive use by some of the buyers. That is why I have attached the PCB design which I found on their wiki. If anyone can point out any issues with it then please do so in the comments.

The introductory price only lasts till 10th so I am planning on making a chouce before that and any guidance would be appreciated.

I have been hunfting for a good mechanical keyboard and this is going to be my very first one. I favour the TKL layout preferably red or brown switches. I couldn't really find major specs diffrences so I figured that pricier ones have better acoustics and feel. Honestly for me reliability matters more and I don't want to end up stuck with a keyboard not even working.

CosmicByte seemed like a good offering for the price point but no one on reddit seems to recommend , could you clarify why and recommend better alternatives. I had prefer wireless but quality takes precedence so I can manage.

Now I am gunning for the Ronin but if anyone can give me assurance about the more respected Aula & URX MKs then its also fine.
