I just checked my 5.11 Deathgrips named gloves that've sat in my Stash for years and and realized that next season they're gonna be on the level of Must Have Named Armor like Picaro's, Contractors and Salvo...

Because that one single piece will have both Protection From Elites from its rework AND Armor On Kill as it's extra attribute. The two essential blue core stats, that you normally would have to sacrifice two mods slots for on tank builds, will exist on ONE piece of armor that you don't even have to use the Ninjabike Backpack to access because PFE will be the first set bonus on 5.11s.

Fellow tanks, we're gonna be eating really good next season.

A 5.11 Fit, in honor of the brand set finally being relevant...lol

Some of y'all may not know this, but 5.11 (full name 5.11 Tactical) is in fact an actual apparel brand, that specializes in uniforms, tactical clothing and gear. Their wares have appeared in several Clancy games as cosmetics, but of course Div2 it's an actual "armor" set.

That set since day 1 was completely useless, but in the coming new season, it's getting 2 stats replaced by Protection From Elites and Increased Threat, making it really good for Tank builds. In honor of that I decided to see how a proper full 5.11 fit would look like and well...it's not bad considering we have pharaohs, ronin and blood soaked wraiths running around nowadays lol. She could be in their catalog haha.

Note that the actual apparel parts are common/white quality and might not actually be in-game anymore. Not sure because I got all these drops in Year 1 (yeah, I've been around that long).

V should become a MYTH, not a legend

I’ve been thinking about how Cyberpunk should handle V whenever we eventually move past 2077. The thought came from a short on YT I saw wondering if they’d mention V in Edgerunners 2.

Obviously V existed. The events of the game happened and are canon to the Pondsmith universe. The problem is that the second CDPR starts getting specific about V, they’re going to have to start making choices that invalidate somebody’s version of the character.

Because who exactly was V? Vincent or Valerie? Corpo, Streetkid or Nomad? Netrunner? Solo? Walking tank with enough chrome to make Maelstrom jealous?

Even personality is impossible to pin down. My V might have genuinely cared about the people around them. Yours might have treated Night City like one giant shooting gallery.

Then you get to the endings and it gets even messier. That’s why I don’t think future Cyberpunk games or media should ever give us a definitive answer. I actually think they should lean into the uncertainty.

V shouldn’t be remembered the way Morgan Blackhand, Johnny Silverhand or Adam Smasher are. Those are historical figures. People know what they looked like. There are records of them. There are people who actually knew them.

V should become something closer to an urban legend. Everybody in Night City has heard of V. Nobody seems to know the same V.

You could have some merc at the Afterlife swear V was a woman who could walk into an Arasaka facility and wipe the entire building without anyone knowing she was there. Guy sitting next to him says that’s bullshit…V was some dude from Heywood. Best gunslinger he’d ever seen. Someone else heard V used to work for Arasaka. A Nomad insists V came from the Badlands. And of course there’s always going to be some asshole at the end of the bar telling everybody his cousin actually knew V.

That’s how I’d want CDPR to reference the events of 2077 going forward. Don’t confirm anything. Actually contradict it. Have different people tell completely different stories about V.

One person says V killed Adam Smasher. Someone else says Smasher killed V. Another heard V walked into Arasaka Tower alone. Someone else remembers hearing there was a whole crew involved.

Maybe somebody says V went beyond the Blackwall and never came back. Maybe someone else swears V became the biggest merc at the Afterlife and eventually disappeared.

None of them actually know. And the funny thing is, neither do we. We all played Cyberpunk 2077, but we didn’t actually meet the same V. There are millions of versions of this person depending on who was holding the controller. Trying to decide which one was the “real” V would take something away from that.

It also fits Night City perfectly. This is a place full of corporate propaganda, rumors, bad information, corrupted records and people talking complete shit at bars. Even Johnny’s memories show us that what somebody remembers happening and what actually happened aren’t necessarily the same thing.

Give that another 20 or 30 years.

“V killed Adam Smasher.”

“Bullshit.”

“I’m telling you, choom. Went straight into Arasaka Tower.”

“With who?”

“Nobody.”

And that’s where I think V eventually becomes more interesting than any other famous mercenary. Jackie wanted to become a Night City legend. Johnny became one. Morgan Blackhand became one.

V shouldn’t get a statue. We shouldn’t get a biography explaining what really happened. Hell, don’t even give us a clear picture of them. Just let people keep telling stories.

After enough time, nobody remembers exactly who V was anymore. Half the things attributed to them probably weren’t even done by V. Every generation adds another piece to the story until the person underneath it basically disappears. But people still know the name.

That’s when V stops being a legend and becomes a myth.

One Operator, 3 missions. Sonia "Red Death" Raven. Operation Kingslayer, Operation Greenstone & Second Wave deployment, Strategic Homeland Division

My Clancyverse canon character, even though The Division isn't canon (but it should be!)

The Parched Masks are truly a missing link for so many fits.

Also FYI: if you have you agent set to always where your loadout mask, it glitches over Parched for a dope looking effect.

COMETA is a psy-op being ran by ARCs.

"Leave The World Below." Pffft...and get slaughtered by Bombardiers or Rats? You're fooling nobody. I'll stay in Speranza, TYVM.

And when are we getting a "Don't Shoot" emote? lol

Outcast...but not outclassed.

The Reed outfit is the female equivalent of the Shattered Hunter outfit, because everyone is wearing it. Who would've thought female Agents were so fit? Well...they're trained for combat, so that's a given I guess...LOL

Timoa Mamula, "The Infamous" (Original CAW recreated by Thr33X aka Me, originally created by my brother Oz70NYC [RIP])

(NOTE: My twin brother Ozzy, known by many in the original CAW community as Oz70NYC, passed away in 2025. As a tribute to him...and a way to keep from falling into deep depression....I am recreating a handful of his most popular CAWS and absorbing them into my universe.)

In an unexpected move, the owners of the Continental Alliance Wrestling (CAW) sold their assets to the Xtraordinary Wrestling Association (XWA) mere months after joining the newly restored World Wrestling Alliance (WWA). As result, their flagship show CONFLICT became a brand of the XWA, causing a total restructuring of the promotion, including the introduction of new titles. The reigning CAW World Champion, Timoa Mamula, was therefore awarded the Inaugural XWA Global Championship, the top men's prize of the new XWA CONFLICT brand.

The only thing that changes is the logo for the man once known as "The Warborn" who now calls himself "The Infamous". Mixing hard hitting striking techniques with raw power and a street mentality, he's one of the most feared men in the industry...and his new title is going to be just as tough to take off of him as the old one was. Available on console CC, check the tags.

Does anyone have any ideas what this means?

Trying to upload a CAW, but I get this before adding tags. If I was using a specific piece of DLC like a CAW part or video or entrance, it would say what...but WTF is this? Is it moves? And if so, how am I supposed to know which moves from the "I Got Gypped For 150 Bucks" pack are they, when none of that content is marked as DLC?

Union King, The Uncrowned (Original CAW by Thr33X aka Me)

It's been a rough patch for the former "Crown Jewel Of Wrestling". Numerous failed attempts to capture the XWA World Heavyweight Title led Union King to be excommunicated from Brock Bentley's "World's Finest" faction. Now standing on his own again, the former National Champion returned back to "The Iron Lord" Alex Windsor to finetune his craft, and returns renewed...changing his moniker to "The Uncrowned" to symbolize that he's no "king" yet, but when he achieves that gold it will be by his own hand. Available on CC for consoles, check the tags.

Shannon Rose, The Rabble Rouser (Original CAW by Thr33X aka Me)

Starting from my latest creation and working my way backwards. Chitown's own Shannon Rose, tattooed with attitude. Her nickname stems from her penchant to be a "disruptor", challenging status quo just as much as she challenges opponents. Her persona is inspired greatly from another tattooed wrestler from Chicago. Available now on CC, check the tags.
