We own a log home that we built around 2014. We’ve had nothing but maintenance issues! We are in the Catskill region of NY. The front of the log home bakes in the sun and gets slammed during harsh winters. We had checks in logs, did our research and used backer rod with log caulk to no avail. Logs started failing. The caulk doesn’t withstand the elements.
The home is large and we do maintenance every summer on the entire home so it’s not a matter of not paying attention.

Has anyone found something to seal the checks that doesn’t shrink? We love the log end sealer and are almost tempted to backer rod, and log end sealer injection. Frustrated is an understatement.

Help?!

So I signed up for the annual standard security deal to get my hvac to shut off if the doors and windows are left open in my rental. The app shows I have no subscription and need one. Spent about 45 mins with chat help and the guy tells me i have to get a refund from apple and do it again. I do that and it doesn’t see my subscription. Keeps telling me that I need one to activate that function. I’ve deleted the app and downloaded it again. No luck.

Help?!

🙃. I tried Bev canned wine and really liked it for a few reasons: price, convenience of a can, and home delivery for free. They stopped DTC so I found Graham & Fiske. Same deal plus loyalty points for discounts. Win win! Well they are going to “mass distributors” and suspended DTC. Sigh

I’m in upstate ny and can’t find anything like the above online. Does anyone in the US know of something? I only drink a Grigio or Gris and like a little bubble in it.

Back story
I have a 3 yr history of full body urticaria with angioedema. The cycle finally broke with 3 shots of xoliar. All was calm for about 8 yrs and then I had a mosquito bite that just took off and spread all over my body. Itchy beyond words and they deemed it AD. Started Dupixent in August of last year, calmed down after a few months and then a patch here or there would break thru. Now I have itchy patches on both arms and one leg. Additionally, Today I had 4 red circles come and disappear within 30 mins. Hives

have my derm appt on Thursday but I honestly trust people who are in the trenches more. Anyone have something similar? Think the Dupixent is failing already?
