Recommendations for bi media

I'm 30yo and trying to explore and feel more convicted in my sexuality. I don't have many queer people around me and am trying to find community online but also just feeling a bit of imposter syndrome. I'm thinking that changing up the media I consume would be a good first step.

I watch a lot of YouTube, listen to a lot of audiobooks while crafting and sometimes watch movies/TV shows.

I'm really not usually into dramas or romances, though, as I find them boring 😅 I'm almost exclusively a horror/thriller gal but I understand this might not be the best genres for what I'm looking for? So maybe things with just a legitimately interesting plot?

On Youtube, I'm way more open to plenty of genres though.

Thanks in advance!

Audiobook recommendations

I listen to books while knitting and have had such a hit and miss experience. For example Paul trembley's "horror movie" was fun for me but his book "cabin at the end of the world" was a tough listen purely bc of the narrator. Not saying that Paul is my favourite style of horror, just an example of how strongly a narrator can affect the experience.

I would love to here your favourite audio horrors, would possibly even be up for something more thriller leaning if the audiobook is enjoyable enough

Confused about how to even enter the world

I'm a 30yo cis woman. I have two smaller kids but am single. I not exactly planning on dating any time soon as my focus is them currently, but I don't think I want to date more men when the time does come.

I know this isn't a unique experience but I can't help but feeling that I'm late to the game. I can't imagine its fair for another woman in their 30s to have the responsibility of "showing me the ropes" or sort of, mentally holding my hand throughout me processing it all and my first experience in a lesiban relationship.

I live in semi rural Australia which adds to my nervousness around it all.

Gosh, I don't even quite know how to write out everything that makes me feel sort of confused and overwhelmed about it all.

In this phase of my life, I don't have a lot of friends, let alone anyone else lgbtq, and just feel like an outsider to the world.

Sorry if anything is worded iffy or taken the wrong way, my mind is super jumbled when I try to express how I'm feeling about this.

Could I please see everyone's ridgy didge star blanket?

I'm feeling the need to give the star blanket a go, it feels like a perfect background/evening telly time project. I love the look of the ridgy didge variation, but can't really find people online making it. I assume difficulty wise, it's not a crazy jump up from the standard 6 day blanket?

Would love to see anyones version of this, hear about your experiences, anything like that. Tia ☺️
