Is my truck supposed to do this ?

Is my truck supposed to do this ?

Just driving down the road and it’s almost as if she wanted belly rubs or something, was I wrong to flip her over and keep driving home or should I have given her a treat ? A lot of oil leaked out :(

Trying to find movie I think about every couple months

So I watched this movie I think on Netflix a couple years back, every once in a while something triggers memories from that movie and it pisses me off every time I think about it because I can’t find said movie, now to the details I remember

- I’m fairly certain the movie started out with a group of teenage boys going to a party in the woods

- next scene I remember was the boys waking up in one of the boys houses, the room they were in was an upstairs room and one of the boys had definitely slept on the floor

- one of them ended up finding a goat head in the closet which made them wonder what the hell happened the night prior

- pretty sure they had found out they had been laced with pcp

- rest of movie was recovering steps from the night prior

That’s all I can really remember and I haven’t for the life of me been able to figure it out, definitely a more teenager drama type… and there’s a chance it has just been removed from streaming all together I don’t really know.. and there’s also a chance I could be mixing movies up

Okay so I think you guys are right and it is a show, I couldn’t remember the majority of it and just assumed it was a movie, thank you !

Need help with old mig welder

So I just picked this up off marketplace and while I have some experience welding I’ve never used a Lincoln and I’ve never welded with anything smaller than .045 solid wire.. this welder came with .025 in it but dad wants to run .030 so I picked up a spool of .030 solid wire and some tips, going bask to get a defuser that the tips will actually thread into and possibly a new nozzle as well…

What I need to know is what my amps/ volts should be at and what my gas should read on the gauge when welding.. I tested out the .025 and it crackled like a sumbitch so that’s why I’m assuming the mix of not having the right settings + not having the has at the right level is causing that

Any other Info or tips for these older welders would be also appreciated

Update for those who saw and responded to my first post here (you’ll know if you were one of them)

So I took some of your advice and I ignored some others advice and at the end of the day it turns out I just needed to weld better in general.. to the one guy who said I was looking for “attaboys” I wasn’t then but I am now, and to the ones who think I am a boy.. I’m not which is the reasoning behind overthinking something as simple as welding 🙃 thank you to those who had nice things to say and good advice the first time around posting

anyway these are welds from today’s base, no I didn’t take a grinder to it before welding like everyone said to do and this is before I cleaned it (I weld the whole thing then I go over it and clean it and look for pin holes with a flashlight as well) also now have my settings at 29amp and 485 for speed which has been goin real nice

Side note : if I knew how to tag the original post here I would but that’s beyond my Reddit capabilities, my page should be public for you to see it though

Looking to build a pc or perhaps buy ? Need advice

So I (my father told me to post this as if I’m the one asking but he doesn’t know he’s cool and pc’s are cool) is looking to either build or buy a pc, he’s asking me questions about if he would be better off buying a pc someone has already built or if he should build his own pc, his budget is between $1200-1500 i believe and he wants something more mid range but doesn’t know where to start with it.. we’ve been PlayStation gamers for quite awhile now and he would like to be able to get more into some of the rpg’s that pc’s have to offer along with being able to do cad design and such on said computer.. any advice would be much appreciated

On side note, he said he wants something water cooled, and with 32gb of ram ? I don’t know what those things mean per say but any suggestions still will be appreciated

Questions about controller

So I just got the scuf omega for my ps5 and I’ve been trying to find videos on how people have the dead zones set and the bits and anti stuff all setup and I’m struggling to find any help (mostly because I don’t understand what any of those things are or do) so could any of you give me some tips or your settings so tonight when I get home I can play with it a bit and see what things actually work based off your own settings ?

Also if/when you comment your settings is there any way you could also let me know the reasoning behind the settings or how they improve gameplay because once again I’m new to even having paddles on my controller 😅

Side note: I blanked the top buttons next to my R2 and L2 already

Trying to figure out where I’m going wrong with welds

So above you have pictures of my welds (we are focusing on the first two photos of the top two welds) the material thickness I’m welding on and my current settings.. I keep getting frustrated because the left weld looks dull and puffy and the weld on the right is “prettier” I’d say. And yes I know my welds in general need work and I am struggling with consistency, I’ve only been in the weld shop a month and a half or so.

My main question here is if anyone can identify from the photos where I could be going wrong ? I’ve messed with my settings changing amps and wire speed, I’ve changed the tension, I’ve changed the angle and speed I’m welding at in numerous ways and I keep getting these dogshit looking welds.

Any help / recommendations / advice is welcome as once again I am new to MiG welding

EDIT FOR THOSE WHO ARENT UNDERSTANDING-
I am not in trouble at work, my welds pass inspection, not cleaning the bases IS THE WAY THEYVE TOLD US TO DO IT.. if I were to clean every base it would slow me down too much and they’d get rid of me.. I posted this in hopes of getting advice not ridicule

Union fitter’s apprenticeship questions

I’ve gone through the application round, testing round and have now made it to the interview round. I now have no idea how the interviews work or what to expect for said interview so if there’s anyone on here who’s gone through interviewing for the apprenticeship could you give me some insight on what to expect or things they’re going to want to hear from me ?

Welding apparel for mig

I’m new in the weld shop at work, only had 3 months of college stick welding experience prior to getting in the weld shop at work, now I’m trying to avoid having to wear leathers and just need the opinions on clothing options, I picked up some FR shirts from ariat and boot barn but figured out quickly they are flame resistant NOT splatter burning through the clothing resistant… since it’s coming up on hotter weather what do you guys suggest

Picture of my welds first week per post guidelines (hopefully I’m following the rest of the guidelines as well 😅)
