I’m better at buying “good food” than actually eating it

Cleaned out my fridge last night and it felt like looking at a list of things I meant to become.

Not takeout. Not random snacks. Mostly the food I bought because I was trying to be better.

Spinach for eggs.

Carrots for snacks.

Cucumber for lunches.

Half an onion wrapped like I was definitely going to use it tomorrow.

Greek yogurt that somehow became background decor.

I think my problem is the middle part. I can buy decent groceries. I can cook sometimes. But once the leftovers or opened ingredients go into the fridge, they sort of disappear unless they’re directly in front of my face.

What’s helped a little is making a tiny “use first” list instead of pretending I’m going to track the whole fridge. This week it’s cucumber, yogurt, and rice.

Anyone else have a low-effort way to keep the almost-forgotten stuff visible?

A little hair makeover day ✨

I’d been wanting to change up my hairstyle for a while, I promised myself a little transformation dayI started by washing and doing a color-locking treatment at home, then headed to the salon for extensions and styling. I’m absolutely thrilled with the final result!

Me and my dog are in a painting!!

I have to share this! I wanted to hang a oil painting in my living room. I’m looking for one that’s entirely handcrafted with a distinct texture. I came across the art shop AtelierOil on Instagram and found this painting. The original one featured a man walking a dachshund, the colors and vibe caught my eye, but I’m a proud Shih Tzu owner myself. I tried to message the artist and didn't expect they would give me a response. But wow, they were so sweet and said yes! No need to add an extra fee for this. It just arrived and seeing me and my little guy right there in the painting is just the best thing ever. .It seriously made my whole week! It’s been a long time since I’ve had such an enjoyable shopping experience. I just really wanted to share. I think I’ll look for more custom items for my dog so he can always be by my side.

The film border text makes zero sense

The portrait itself looks stunning, but look at the vertical film strip text on the right side: ZSN DN ZSU, ZEORA, ZZN NU ZZZ. Real film stocks like Kodak or Fujifilm have very specific catalog numbers, not random letter gibberish.

Look closely at the metal grommets on her outfit. Fake?

The style is cool but the metallic rings on her top and skirt don't actually line up or make physical sense with the fabric seams. Her left hand is also blending a bit too smoothly into the fur coat texture.

This picture looks amazing however I'm feeling it's Ai, what do you guys think?

It looks really nice but I think Ai was used to edit the image, thoughts?

What do you think of this close up shot? Real or not

There's way too many details but I'm still leaning towards Ai

I’m curious about local transportation, where did you find the coolest public funicular or steep hillside cable railway?

Some cities are so incredibly hilly that standard buses just won't cut it. Riding a steep hillside railway is always a fun way to get a bird's-eye view of the streets below. Which destination had your favorite vintage cable car or funicular track?

Evening sun hitting the orange facades and rooftop terraces just right

Found a spot to look out over the rooftops just as the golden hour sun was blindingly bright. Love the layout of these old apartment buildings with their rooftop balconies and the dome of a cathedral peeking out in the distance. What city do you think has the absolute best rooftop culture for relaxing and watching the sunset?

I bought a flight yesterday and the price dropped by $300 today. Airlines are a joke.

I am incredibly frustrated right now. I’ve been eyeing flights to Tokyo for weeks, watching the prices hover around $1,200. Yesterday afternoon, I finally decided to pull the trigger and bought the ticket because it looked like seats were filling up.

Literally less than 24 hours later, I logged back into the app to double check my departure terminal, and out of curiosity, I looked at the exact same flight. It’s now listed for $900. A $300 drop overnight.

I immediately called customer service assuming it would be an easy fix since it hasn't even been a full day. They told me that because I booked a standard non refundable fare, they won't adjust the price or issue a credit for the difference. It feels like total robbery to watch the algorithm tank the price the second after you hand over your credit card. Can I somehow get that $300, cuz I can't just spend money like that.

I think that alone is enough but I'm not sure, is it?

I think it's Ai, the text on the door doesn't make any sense also the background looks weird.

Have you ever randomly met someone while traveling who felt like a main character out of a movie?

I’m talking about those unforgettable strangers like a hostel owner with an unbelievable backstory, an old sailor who gave you cryptic directions, or an eccentric artist who shared a wild philosophy. Who is a person you met for just one day but still talk about years later?

Look at the sign in the background, this has to be AI lol

At first glance this just looks like a regular lifestyle blog photo outside a shop, but the orange sign on the right completely gives it away.

Is it just me or does the lighting in this vacation pic look totally fake?

Stumbled on this sunset shot and my AI radar immediately started pinging. What do you think?

Think back to the most physically exhausting day of travel you’ve ever successfully survived.

This isn't just about surviving a long flight. Think of those days where every connection went wrong, you had to walk miles in the pouring rain with heavy luggage, or you had to sprint across a massive foreign transit hub. Looking back now, does it make for a great story?

What is the best local wellness tradition or sauna experience you’ve tried while traveling?

Whether it's a traditional bathhouse, a Scandinavian lake-side sauna, or a unique local ritual what’s a wellness experience that completely relaxed you after a long journey?

What city looks the most magical at night?

What city exceeded your expectations completely once the sun went down? I took this shot looking over the city lights and it honestly felt like a movie. What’s a destination where the nightlife, the lights, and the overall energy completely transformed the place for you?
