Prescribed GLP1 but cannot afford it, detrimental to PCOS management, not covered by insurance. Anyone have tips?

I have PCOS (newly renamed PMOS) and sleep apnea. My insurance has denied coverage of the GLP1 for sleep apnea, but the real medical reason I was told to try it is because I am very insulin resistant and despite doing all I can with diet and exercise, i keep a certain amount off and cannot go any further. I am trying to start the medication because my PCOS/PMOS symptoms are ruining my life and cost me my job. Migraines from hormonal flucutations that come with aura that block my vision, hot flashes and rosacea, off the charts inflammation in my blood work and the list goes on. The migraines and nausea have become so bad I cannot work my office job. I'm currently in a 6 day migraine spell, my migraine prescriptions aren't working.

I tried getting a PA approved but it was denied leaving me with my cost being in the thousands and thats not possible. How can I get this medication at an affordable cost? or is being poor just a barrier to entry. Realistically I could spend 150 at most 250 a month. I don't know if I should even bother. I'm just getting sicker and the out of pocket cost is the only thing keeping me from a normal life.

Heavy adhesive residue under wallpaper on plaster — what do I use to remove it?

Question is straightforward. I have a 1957 built house, had wallpaper, got around to removing it but where the seems of the paper were there is a TOOOON of layered yellow/brown glue. I wanted to know what works best for removing it before priming & painting the wall now that the paper is gone. I used a steamer for the paper removal which was lovely but the adhesive stayed almost entirely in tact.

Constant minor outages up to 8-11x an hour for 2mins at a time

For about 2 months i have experienced outages when using streaming services like twitch and constant disconnects from games, mostly during daytime hours. Nighttime is almost completely unaffected. I live in a rural area and was unsure if it was congestion, so i looked into changing my channel but when looking at the firewall for about 2 months i have thousands of wan attacks attempts. The two devices most affected are my iphone and my desktop. Every other device (TV, Xbox, additional TV with amazon firestick) is almost completely unaffected. I just moved the security from low to typical to see if it helps. I'm unsure if this is the correct move, though. When troubleshooting, everything appears fine. My desktop has updated drivers and windows programs as I regularly update my PC. I assume it was network related since my devices further from the modem (xbox and living room tv) have had a connection lapse 2x in the last 2 months whereas my iphone and desktop experience 8-11 connection drops an hour but somehow when troubleshooting this seems fine. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, but I can't afford for a tech to come out to look just yet, so I am trying to check everything i can on my end before having to call a technician. Advice?

Had a big toe ingrown and saw podiatrist & got it taken care of. I think my second toe next to big toe is ingrown??? Has anyone heard of this ??

Praying I just had swollen feet and aggravated it but I’m doubtful. I didn’t think you got ingrowns on your smaller toes but I’m worried

First time homeowner, Mouse problem. Found spots and sealed them, but caught 1 more 3 wks later, today. Would a dog help?

We had a 3 nice back in May, and just caught one more. We checked and resealed are other problem spots and are checking deeply for another tomorrow. We are HOPING it was maybe a straggler after sealing everything else up that just managed to sneak by. I’m horribly allergic to cats so while very cute, a cat is not an option. We had been discussing getting a dog/puppy down the line unrelated to mice. Would the smell of a dog dissuade the mice? It’s our first home, it’s an old build and I’m out in an agricultural midwestern town surrounded by corn. I want to resolve the issue but I’m like paranoid there’s a spot we just didn’t seal bc we didn’t find it. If I cant find a spot and they keep coming, what do you recommend?

Problem is 2 found near dining room & 2 in the basement. We set up traps in both areas and figure if we catch more in one area it may be closer to where they are coming in.

Newbie with questions - de googling with a small online business. Is it possible?

I sell art, and have for awhile. Part of selling art these days is the whole social media runaround of making videos of it, posting them yada yada. However, I've had privacy and data concerns and recently heard about "de-googling" so here I am. If I am online using social media and shopify for business purposes, does that make de-googling not possible? I'm fine with phasing out doomscrolling and personal social media accounts for personal enjoyment, because they're not enjoyable anymore anyways, but I am trying to figure out a way i can continue my career and protect my data and privacy. But it feels like im running into a can't have your cake & eat it too situation. I'm very new this sphere, so any insight would be appreciated. TIA

First mouse after moving to agricultural town, how do we proceed?

So caught a mouse coming out of my oven today….

My fiance and I are from the suburbs where mice coming in isn’t as common but def not impossible with some of the older houses especially. However, this is our first time owning a home, so unlike renting, it’s OUR problem. 😆

So, that’s fine. Outside of the obvious traps, what can we do? Is there prevention? Tips? Advice?

So far, we have only seen one… but I’m very worried there are more. Is this something we can do ourselves or should we call a professional, considering we live surrounded by fields and farms?

Need re-alignment in both knees but want to train legs. What low impact ways can I train legs?

I’m getting back into fitness after letting myself go and finding out part of that was because I have a metabolic disease! Super fun stuff.

Diet is going well, eating tons of protein and going on walks. However, my condition is PCOS and I was advised to do weight training & calisthenics while I shed pounds. However, while low impact overall is temporary in the long run because I’ll eventually be able to lift proper — I have had knee problems since I was 17 (I played rugby). Floating kneecaps & very loose surrounding ligaments.

If anyone has any advice on how to safely work out my legs both while I’m overweight & when I’m a bit more fit, that would be so helpful. I want to squat (just bodyweight) because that’s kind of the go to you think of, but I’m worried.

I don’t have pain a lot, just instability, but pain lately after hiking — not soreness.
