What does scarification feel like?

I’m not currently super into scarification, but I have been wondering especially since joining the sub, what does it feel like? Specifically the healing process? I have a bad issue with picking and peeling my skin, and sometimes I’ll go too far down the skin layers (?) and it really hurts to even be exposed to air… I imagine scarification would be like that but worse?? 😬😬

“Cis men dress feminine too!”

For context I’m almost completely stealth unless people knew me before transition, 1 1/2 years post op top surgery which actually saved my life, and 2 1/2 years on T!! I’m pretty masculine and I have a shit ton of body hair, but I am also what you would consider an “otter” in gay terminology. I’m gay, too. I consider myself transsexual and “being” trans has NOTHING to do with my identity, it is JUST a medical condition for me.

I often see people (tucutes) (usually “ftm”) saying that it’s fine they’re wearing dresses and push-up bras because cis men do it too and they’re allowed to dress feminine… and I don’t inherently disagree with that, but my argument is why would you want to do that??? I know a lot of them claim to not have dysphoria, it just makes no sense to me. “I’m not in a position where I can safely transition” okay then why wouldn’t you want to be as masculine as possible?? 😭😭😭 like what… transsexuals that actually cannot transition do their best to make the most of the situation and buy clothes that are as GNC as possible, don’t actively post pics showing off (yes, deliberately) their breasts, etc.

Trans men should be allowed to wear whatever they want, but I struggle to accept that these people are trans men, and that they actually have the same life altering debilitating medical condition that I have. This whole thing came to mind because I bought some lingerie. Women’s lingerie. I’m at a point in my life (not my transition, because I don’t even really see it as a transition, just a medical treatment necessary for my survival like a lung operation or a transplant would be) where I don’t care to say “women’s” lingerie even though I’m a man. I’m not sure how much I’m going to enjoy wearing it, but I like the idea. Not because it’s feminizing, but because I honestly just think some of the lace looks awesome and I have a nice ass, so why not show it off? I’m hoping it doesn’t give me any dysphoria, but given that I’m so hairy and my body has become so masculine, I doubt it will.

Transsexual men, if you want to wear sexy underwear, do it. If you want to wear crop tops, do it. But I can’t wrap my head around wanting to do those things when you don’t pass at all…

Cheese with cherries?

Hi!! I love making food and cooking, and most of my work is just stuff I think would taste good together, but recently my friend asked me to make him a sandwich, and I figured I should consult the experts. I usually cook with the heart more than the brain.

He said he really likes cherries, and I’m looking into making possibly some sort of grilled cheese with cherry compote, or even just toast. But I’m not sure what sort of cheese would pair well with that? Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Phalloplasty results (almost always) are less than satisfactory.

If you disagree, I don’t really care. Yes it’s cool that medical technology has come this far, I know, I’m just getting my thoughts out somewhere that I know might agree with me.

I’m a transsexual male, and I’ve come to terms with never having a “full sized” penis. For me, functionality and aesthetics are the most important. Luckily I’m a gay bottom so o don’t have to worry much about not being able to penetrate.

It’s so so so frustrating to see so many incredible results from vaginoplasties, and stories about how transsexual women are able to be entirely stealth even during sex. I’m happy for them, truly, but I wish we had that option. I’ve been on the phallo sub for years, I’ve visited transbucket, and I’ve seen maybe 3-5 results that actually could pass as cis.

Personally, I’d rather just have a cis looking micropenis and get meta, but it’s so frustrating to not even realistically have the option to have anything cis-appearing of an average size. It’s even worse because as soon as you say this, you’re transphobic and ignorant and whatever the fuck, but I think I should be allowed to have an opinion and want more for my body than I can currently have with our medical technology.

I’m just confused…

It seems like in 2020-2021 everyone was HATING on this guy and it was widely accepted that his music was shit. Then sudden 2026 comes around and everyone is acting like it never happened? I haven’t seen anything negative about him and suddenly he’s like a big celebrity everyone likes??? Did I miss a memo or something?

I’m tired of transsexuality being labeled as a social disorder.

I’ve seen people say “transsexuality” is a bad term, but honestly I like it. Obviously not in a “mentally ill” way, but more of a medical way. It’s a condition. In my experience, I was born with a medical issue that I have to fix. I do this by “transitioning”. Being trans (I hate to even say BEING trans) has no part in my identity as a person. It’s on the same level as someone who is diabetic or has asthma. It’s just something you deal with.

I think there are sort of two types of being “trans”, the medical kind (transsexual) and the social kind (transgender). I’m not going to doubt the legitimacy of the social kind because gender has been debated and perceived in many ways for millennia, but I think we need to start separating that from the medical condition bc they really are two different experiences.
