So we know Axl's email (Rockinfreakshow) but what do we think everyone else's were? I'm sure Mike's was probably just his name but what about Frankie, Sue, and Brick?

Month to month termination

New York. Not NYC. We've been here 4 years and recently got a 90 day termination notice out of nowhere. Another tenant told us our landlord is moving a family member in. The 90 days is the correct amount of time legal wise but my question is- our lease is month to month and starts the 1st of each month. We have to leave by November 15th but shouldn't we get until the end of Novembers lease? The 30th? And the second question- if we do have to leave by the 15th are we required to pay the full rent for November? I've searched the lease and can't find any answers. The landlord isn't answering (nothing new there.) Does anyone know what the law says?

Question about waterline booster pump

My landlord had something installed today to help with water pressure. Waterline booster pump is all the information I got. It's attached to the water meters in the basement and plugged into an outlet. All the basement outlets are separated to go on each apartments electricity. The new device has been plugged into our outlet so I'm wondering if anyone could tell me how much this could add to our electric bill? There are three apartments in the main building and one garage apartment.

New blade cut settings

Is it normal for cut settings to work differently after you replace the blade? I changed the blade and used my usual settings to cut something I've cut lots of times. This time it didn't cut all the way through. I replaced a cricut blade with a generic one.

Today my 15 year old boy was diagnosed with most likely having bone cancer in two of his paws. We noticed last week two of his paws appeared to be infected. We started antibiotics and it hasn't improved. After discussing it with the vet we've decided not to do all the diagnostic testing. He also has a heart murmur which we're concerned could make sedation (for an x-ray) dangerous. Plus, it wouldn't change much. The only treatment would be amputation. Since it's already in two spots it's also likely spread to other parts of his body. It's an extremely aggressive cancer. And again the anesthesia could be too much on his heart. The surgery likely wouldn't give him any more meaningful time anyway. Hes definitely uncomfortable even with pain meds. I've had to make the decision many times before but never in a situation like this. My other cats stopped eating and/or had very serious symptoms that made it very clear it was time. Hes still eating, going to the bathroom, he isn't lethargic or out of it. Aside from the pain he's still himself. This feels so much harder than the previous decisions. Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
