  1. the episode was co-written by Konnie Huq a former presenter for the real-world UK talent spin-off The Xtra Factor.

  2. It was purposefully aired immediately after a major X Factor finale.

  3. The "Hot Shot" audition supposedly perfectly mirrored the look, feel, and judging dynamics of the actual previous talent show. (I'm not too sure about this last one. I think its a general statement).

  4. Why you don't see it preformed on actual shows...The song is written by multiple people and then sung by a third so its notoriously hard to clear for use by production. Also apparently contestants seem to be apprehensive about singing it due to its association.

I think if it could get cleared for use...it would be a solid choice for a semifinal or even final round song.

Nosedive was a "passion project" for Bryce Dallas Howard. A story that needed to be told.

She already had some big credits to her name but when someone showed her the script she knew she had to do it. "It resonated with her stuggles and fears". She put on 30 pounds so she could better meet her characters mind set towards the world and her friends in the show.

She wanted to make this to "bring to light that this is where society is heading and even already is in someways".

Making this episode was so important to her she completely ignored the fact she really didn't like the black mirror show as a whole. It was just this narrative and script that really mattered to her.

I 42M have been living in the same apt in phoenix az for 11 years. It started of at 700 hr a month with utilities, now its 1400 with no utilities. I have become the sole provider on 20+ hr. I want to save for a house but my b SO won't get a job. How can i do this my self.

Weve cut most of our streaming services and online order. Cut car insurance because I own my car an work from how and every thing we need we can take tge lightrail. Yet we still struggle. We don't drink, smoke or even go out. My credit scorenisbinbthe mid 6 hundreds.

I am going to School, for "AI in Web Development " which ironically has nothing to do with web design. My company (A fortune 100) company is paying for it. The class is teaching to built agentic AI bots that will replace me and my co-workers in the long run. I want to built and maintain them.
